So anyways this article is aboot how the FTC is apparently worried about how Google and Apple are squeezing developers, charging them 30% fees and punishing them if the developers of the apps offer alternative methods of payments.

Here's an article from 2018 on how the David Horowitz Freedom Center outed 'Color of Change' as the Racist Anti-Free Speech Group it actually is and in retaliation said organization managed to briefly take down the David Horowitz Freedom Center after lying that it advocated White Supremacy and Nationalism and compelled Visa and Mastercard to cease donations to the Horowitz Freedom Center until public outcry and protest compelled them to reverse action.

Color of Change has been around for awhile. Their campaign helped remove Pat Buchanan, a paleocon Conservative Commentator from his decade long tenure at MSNBC over content he wrote in a book unrelated to his MNSBC career. way back in 2012. And now in 2021 they were one of the many extremist left wing groups that took credit for deplatforming Conservatives and Donald Trump by putting pressure on Twitter and other Big Tech and Corporate players.

“We're getting a lot of people asking about whether or not they can say that they are against gay marriage,” NAR staffer Diane Mosley said during an online training session on Nov. 30. “Specifically, if they can back it up with Scriptures, or say it in a sermon.”

I wonder if this is in anticipation of a lawsuit? I mean, how often has it been pointed out that Twitter has banned conservatives over "hate speech" or "inciting" yet left Islamists and antifa alone? And they recently got Apple and Amazon to go after Parler for something that was actually planned on Facebook from what I understand. Makes me wonder if they're trying to cover their asses for when Parler gets around to suing them.

Google's actually getting punched back for once. They issued a Youtube TOS warning to Andrew Spinks, the developer of Terraria for no reason anybody can figure out, then 3 days later doubled down and banned his everything, email, playstore games he'd purchased, access to all his accounts, everything.

After three weeks of getting the runaround, Spinks has hit back by banning Google Stadia from getting to host Terraria. This is a pretty serious blow given that Stadia's struggling to attract games and Terraria was one of the bigger names slated to appear on it. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
