Trudeau broke the country. Him and that evil witch who is his deputy PM. All they had to do was meet the truckers, and produce a timeline for dropping the mandates. Canada is a lot smaller and more left than America. The truckers and their really effective peaceful protest freaked them out and now they are lashing out violently because they are panicked and don't know what to do.
America is much larger and more diverse with strongholds on both sides. Give it time. A lot of the leftist narrative is collapsing and they will lash out violently as well when they really start getting scared. Hell, that already happen on Jan 6th and the election steal. You don't do stuff that blatant if you aren't scared and desperate.

In retrospect it makes sense. The Canadians are too polite for their own good, they have no real backbone for self defense like the Yankees or Dixies, and they completely lack a political wing willing to stand up to them in courts and government like the MAGA that has formed in the USA. To a less attentive person those things might look like a sign things are getting hot, but in reality they are important pressure valves that allow the USA to let off some steam in a safe way and safeguard their republic.
Canada has no such safety valves, and they blindly blocked any remaining ones when Trudeau came in. It was a matter of time.

Sure, be a moron. Give them what they want. The state loves when you do violence against it. It's the best thing every for the state. Because your violence won't stop them and won't help anything, but being able to point at you means that they can keep portraying themselves as the good guys to the masses they don't want waking up. That's why nonviolent protests work: they shock the conscience out of complacency. The more non violent they are, the better. The more violence done to them, the better.
