United States Defunding/Abolishing the Police and Radical Police Reform in the US

Tiamat

I've seen the future...
For a more in depth article on the bill and the obvious pandering with it:

Kamala Harris and Cory Booker both make their presence known, again. You can literally hear both of them tripping over each other trying to get Biden’s coveted VP slot.

I wonder what do the officers of Minneapolis PD think about their city's intend to disband their department.
I guarantee they aren't happy they are about to be out of the job and with as high profile as the Floyd killing is coupled with people giving statement's that imply that most officers in the MPD are as corrupt as that murdered is, makes them unlikely to get another job in law enforcement for the foreseeable future.

It's sad but the many in this situation are being blamed for the few's actions as a sacrifice to the Gods on the altar of fire..

Towards becoming a new Detroit.
You’re being to nice. Detroit isn’t that dumb. They still have cops and get they’re important.

I’m calling it now. More businesses and people are going to be moving the hell out of there because with the looting and police leaving. There is no reason to stay.
There’s been talk they’re going to replace them with social workers. Any social worker with brains will stay the hell away from there as well.
For example, I’ve watched cops come to a domestic disturbance.
Sometimes when they’re arresting the abuser the victim will attack them. Because they’re arresting “their man.”

What are the chances that businesses that have lost property to this riot spree completely leave these cities and said cities become blighted, jobless hellscapes like Detroit?

I think some manufacturer in Minneapolis already announced they aren’t going to rebuild their business there.

Where do you think these jobs are going to move to? Will rural America see the revitalization it’s been dreaming of, or do you think a good portion of these jobs, at least as far as manufacturing and actual industry, gets offshored to Mexico or India?

And what are the trucking routes going to look like if the loony demorats actually abolish their police departments? How big are the food deserts going to get when the rioters have burnt down every local grocery store in a twenty mile radius and the truckers refuse to go to whatever stores actually try to rebuild in said now lawless areas?

You know, riots are the language of the unheard, or however that quote goes, sounds good till you get down to the actual effects and logistical issues they cause.

There are still parts of LA that haven’t rebuilt from the Rodney King riots, and this seems to be on a much more widespread scale.

Riots may be the language of the unheard, but it’s soon to be the language of the jobless, impoverished, and hungry.

The enemy of these guys won't just be the upper class....it'll be the working class and middle class and maybe even the middle-to-upper class

Think of how the farmhands working for the Kulaks during Stalin's reign and the Whites during Mugabe's reign are sorta left out of the narrative

Their enemies have always been the middle. Thats the essence of bioleninism, These protests arent organic, they are the result of an ocean of money being transferred to NGOs from billionaires like Steyer and Soros. Without that money there would be no lawyers and no armies of professional activists.

I recall how in college I made a paper that talked about how all those “grassroots” organizations against GMOs that also had a thing for environmentalism, were actually funded by companies that saw GMO Companies as a threat

$20 says your professor wasn’t happy about that.

I mostly got D's with every single paper I made, it was a Sociology Class and even when I had help from tutors giving me criticism, she always found stuff to nitpick

One thing she nitpicked was saying that studies by those businesses saying that other businesses doing "studies" as a sort of attack was "biased"....as if there's a way to find a completely unbiased way of seeing the issue given that most of the articles I found regarding GMOs were either for or against it, even when I pointed out the concerns of said Anti-GMO guys

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
They want to screw over the police the truckers will screw them over and not deliver goods to the cities and end up dragged out and have their skull caved in. They're not paid enough to deal with that shit.
