I don't think he will manage to get elected again.Bolsonaro is 67 currently. So he can run for a second term at 71. And retire at 75. And given the thin and narrow victory Lula had, if he fucks up in any way (like fucking up the economy just to a moderate degree even), it's going to be damn hard for Lula's coalition to hold the Presidency in 2026.
Doubling-down on Lula NOT finishing out his third term.Bolsonaro is 67 currently. So he can run for a second term at 71. And retire at 75. Where does this leave the Conservatives? Who benefits with Bolsonaro losing last night?I don't think he will manage to get elected again.
Lula almost didn't; his leads over the runner-up were 22%(2002), 21%(2006%) and 1.9%(2022). Bolsonaro had a 10% lead over the runner-up in 2018, and lost by 1.9% in 2022, as said before. His support eroded much faster than Lula's did(not that I think Lula will win any more elections - or run for elections - anyway).
That doesn't even take into account the possibility of him being arrested(and losing elegibility for many years) - a possibility that isn't small, especially when you consider that many of his 'allies' started deserting him yesterday night.
Damn shame. It was fun while it lasted, but at least I'll continue following Brazilian First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro on InstagramHonestly the last time Brazil had a decent government was under the empire. It's been pretty hit and miss since it ended
Bold of you to assume they won't arrest or assassinate him.Bolsonaro is 67 currently. So he can run for a second term at 71. And retire at 75. the barely winning part is to keep the other side from being mad about it, we ALMOST did it, NEXT time
there is a video about hope out there, it's something like this (because i didn't memorize the exact numbers), a rat would paddle in the water from drowning for 10 hrs before giving up but a rat that was plucked out at hour 9 for a short time would then paddle for 20 hours once put back into the water - which they believed to be related to hope - the rat hoped something would save it (don't let that sound familiar or you might question inactions)
you could lump ... just wait 2 more weeks in there along with ... 2 weeks to stop the spread
Brazil already has favelas full of leftist electorate, do they really need to import more when they already can win elections even with an old, compromised corruptocrat? What I find interesting is that Brazilian leftists are not pro-mass immigration even though Brazil could presumably theoretically attract a lot of immigrants from other Latin American countries as well as from places such as India, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
I hope the Conservatives will be UNITED to block Lula's garbage in his upcoming 3rd term ASAP.They already are talking about arrestinf him just Ortega did in Nicaragua. Granted that the right in Nicaragua was pro-American and American proxies (unlike Bolsonaro who was just pro-US as long as Trump was there) and pro-lockdown.
I hope Bolsonaro has a backup plan.
Also the wildcard is Twitter. There are already people calling this a fraud.
My mom is complain that the Northeast carried Lula again despite the reason of their misery is also Lula and the reason there was a Bolsonaro is Lula of course.
Once again, Klaus Schwab has penetrated the govt. They got their man in power.
Anyone notice the globalists use the same game plan in every country and state they infiltrate? It's always the lefty globalists candidate barely winning to try and keep everyone from realizing they stole the election.

HAPPENING NOW: Things are developing quickly in Brazil, and not in a good way after the election that was STOLEN from Bolsonaro. The police are starting to join with the Bolsonarista truck drivers who are protesting the fraudulent results of the Brazilian election.

Secondly, the left there is allied heavily with greens who absolutely oppose development of the wild territories of Brazil, which rapid growth of population through immigration would naturally imply.
And last but not least, the global population of wannabe mass migrants want to get to a rich country, preferably one that also has a generous welfare system waiting for them. These days Brazil is not much richer than half the shitholes they come from though, which is why what they do have is mostly from nearby extra bad shitholes like Haiti and Venezuela.
You say Vietnam, Philippines? Why the hell would people from there go to a foreign country that's hardly richer than their familiar homeland (especially once you consider the worse gini coefficient) and seems to have worse growth perspectives, the former being some of "Asian tiger" economies?
Main problem of Brazil's current situation is these WOKEASS leftist freaks, who are running the country into the ground. Wake me up in 20+ years when the goodies are gone & the Brazilian people rise up & revolt against the Uppity Left. Because sooner or later, there's going to a strong violent backlash against these Leftists in Latin America. No offense to Brazillians here.
But Vietnam actually has better geography for economic development. Brazil has a fucking mountain range between their productive areas and the global oceans this is what really fucks their economy. Vietnam doesn't have that problem and can export their products with out trucking things through narrow mountain passes.
The philipines like wise do not have that problem.
Also Brazils long term prospects are worse.
Their economic miracle required them to actually go out and fucking terraform shitty land with expensive imputs. Then taking these imputes and trucking them through mountain pases which has to be one of the most expensive ways to do things. This worked in an era of cheap capital but that era is over.
A lot of the shit that makes Brazil works is going away and on top of that they have a demographic crisis coming like most industrial countries. Brazils is going to have a really really shitty time soon.

That includes Asia, Europe, Africa, Middle East, etc.,We really cant judge them on that one their just dealing with a slightly magnified problem that all of western civilization is dealing with.
