Eh... my first thought was that he didn't see the kids*, because he was clearly high-fiving people much taller than them, but the head's angled enough and the way the hand is waving it does look like he just passed them by for no reason and that's not cool.

*Visibility in those suits is pretty poor, the occupant's actually looking out through a little slit inside the mouth for a stupidly narrow frame of vision. It's a problem for a lot of mascot suits that due to the design, the person inside isn't really looking out the mascot's eyes so there can be a severe disconnect between where it appears to be looking and what the occupant can actually see.

It could've been a woman in that costume.

And yes, the only reason I'm posting this is because his name is Hung Cao which I find to be immensely funny.

But apparently he's a twenty five year veteran of the US Navy and a Vietnamese refugee whose family escaped South Vietnam in 1975 before settling in Virginia in 1982. He was a Navy Diver and worked in EOD and left the Navy after his last deployment, to Afghanistan no less, back in 2021.

Besides making mixed babies with his White Wife, his other passions include going on mission trips around the world and working with non-profits that give toys to kids with visual impairments.





From his website... substantive policies he seems to support include religious exemptions for WuFlu Vaccines, ending vaccine mandates, supporting School Choice, being Pro-Life, and whatnot.
