Nintendo Am I the only one that's concerned that Metroid Dread's ending could set up the franchises going Woke?

So If I understand the ending correct? Samus is a full Metroid now. Meaning she has the ability to drain the life force from others. Thing is last I checked isn't this something that metroids do out of instinct and do it automatically when they touch some sort of energy source which is what made them so dangerous in the first place?

It seems like there are one of two paths they can go to. They can have her be a Master Chief/doomguy esque protagonist that totally kicks butt, or they'll pull a Cortana have Samus go insane and be the big bad that a "New hip protagonist" has to fight and kill off and inevitably said new protagonist replaces Samus as the main character of the Francise.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but I've seen a lot of Gaming journalist knocking Samus down for whatever reason, and I've seen an awful lot of cases where a character or franchise has gotten kneecapped for the sake of appearing progressive. (Last of us, Mortal Kombat, Star Wars, He-Man, Marvel and DC) I'll admit I'm def a more causal metroid fan, but I love the character of Samus (Minus other M) and I don't want to see another popular franchise, especially one that broke so much ground for it's time. "Get Woke, Go Broke"

I don't know. Am I misunderstanding the ending? Are my fears unfounded? does anyone else who played this game have the same concerns I do?

While there have been warning signs that the Japanese anime and video games industry might being slowly converged by the West's agenda, I'm not seeing too much warning signs for Nintendo, the most being the Fire Emblem Fates localization debacle, and again that had to do with localization, not creation at the source.

"Get Woke, Go Broke"

"Get woke go broke" is not true. It's a cope by people hoping that there will be negative consequences. Yes, woke things don't sell as well, but they can still be profitable and keep the company afloat. Corporations do not do things to make money. They can leverage debt to keep themselves afloat forever. It's about pushing their agenda. No one who produces a woke movie will ever not find work in Hollywood. In fact, they will be rewarded with more work. They will fail their way up. Writers routinely fail their way to the title. The sooner you understand that there will be no negative consequences for these woke creators, the sooner you change how you think and start fighting back by creating your own art.

If Metroid indeed goes bad, then you need to let go. Yes, it sucks, but bemoaning the fall of your favorite franchise isn't going to change anything. Find other things to enjoy. You shouldn't center your life around consuming entertainment. Don't be like Doomcock, who is still trapped in 2018 and is unable to move on with his life and find new things to enjoy.

If Metroid indeed goes bad, then you need to let go. Yes, it sucks, but bemoaning the fall of your favorite franchise isn't going to change anything. Find other things to enjoy. You shouldn't center your life around consuming entertainment.

First they kill your entertainment then they kill you. It's a boiling frog dude. You can run as far as you want but you eventually you run out of hills. Eventually you have to choose a hill to fight (and potintally to die) I'd rather die fighting on the first hill than going into the night on the last hills.

You can make new art they'll just take it by force.
