Does anyone happen to know if a 2014 Honda Civic's spare tire provision will fit a full-sized tire/rim?

Probably not. Most spare-tire wells are only designed to fit the temp spare. It may be large enough to handle the diameter, but it will likely not sit flush with the rest of the trunk.

So I ended up in the ditch with my 2014 Honda Civic today, which kind of drove home an important question - is there a good place to hook on to in order to pull this car with a winch or chain from the front? There's a pretty obvious spot on the back, but I'm having a hard time seeing a good spot to hook on to the front of it. Luckily I was able to be pulled out using the one on the back, but there may come a time that I need to know where to hook on to it from the front.

Tow points should be identified in the car's manual.

They aren't, though. All I have in there is advice to use a flatbed. And yet there's nothing in there on where to hook the winch to to drag it up onto a flatbed.
