Chadwick Boseman, who starred in movies such as "Black Panther", "42", and "Get on it up", have succumbed to pancreatic cancer. He died in his home, surrounded by wife and family. The illness has been diagnosticed in 2016 and he had been in treatment since. Unfortunately, it couldn't be cured. It is not known yet when his funeral will be.

I suspect that even if we don't this century the survival rates will still go way up(and to be fair they have so far in the first two decades of this century) to the point that most forms of severe cancer will have a 90+% survival rate

Your word in God's hear, friend. Cancer is a terrible thing, beaten only by Alzheimer imo. If not a cure, then at least a treatment to slow it down or even stop it would be a blessing.
