Breaking News CNN Scandalized! Pope says Abortion is as bad as Nazism

Exactly so. I may use my philosophical and religious lingo to refer to modern social events, but it's quite possible, using the extensive research into them, to follow up and understand "Manufactured Consent" (Public Opinion, Lippmann,1922), "Engineered Consent" (Bernays, 1947) and the concept of anomie (Emile Durkheim). As for deracination, it is very well attested, and I will instead encourage you to read this very good summary of the concept I am alluding to, in The Wisdom of our Grandmothers:

Then it might behoove you to explain it more in the terminology used in the literature than your religious terminology since it is going to be more understandable to more people. However, I can understand that would come at a cost to you, so perhaps, if you aren't already doing this, would not using the terminology and concepts in the literature to explain the more esoteric concepts you are using work better?

It just seems to me that people are not understanding your meaning due to using esoteric terms. I can dimly apprehend them, due to being familiar with some similar concepts, education and intellectual brute force.

I started preparing a glossary, but I got distracted from it into debates early on.

There may be a preexisting glossary somewhere. I will look for it. I defined some terms in a thread, as noted, but then it got derailed.

As I said, that does tend to happen. I am pretty sure I have lost plenty of time arguing with people over the internet...and even plenty of time lost agreeing with them.

I think it’s a little bit bizarre that aborting a fetus with severe deformities is seen as worse than aborting a fetus purely for convenience.
Well killing a person because they are deformed and sick in our drain of your resources tends to be seen the same as killing a person just for them inconveniencing you.
The distance between us and the pope is that he considers The Unborn Child to be a person same as you or me. So from that perspective no justification feels valid if you bring it before him as a judge or someone who is making a decision. And you're going to have to really work hard to find that unborn baby that is immediately trying to kill you so that you have to kill them in self-defense
