Commoners Quest- 1000 Wands of World Wrecking Wonder (DnD 5E RPG)

James makes his living looking after the livestock of others, though he has a few animals of his own. A serious, hardworking fellow, James is an excellent hand with animals, and actually raises chickens free range. (The only herd a low man can afford.) His accommodations are exceptionally poor, and he actually spends considerable time out in the wide lands of pasture.
(He has put someone else in charge of his livestock for the time being, paying them in milk and eggs.)

You lack the formal education of the higher classes, but for how little you may know there is a great deal that you understand. You have a practical, working knowledge of astrology and meteorology, and can easily track the time and date as well as predict the weather within a few hours, or days if you're lucky. You understand the "secrets of life"; the needs of life (water, light, air, salt, etc.), the patterns of physical inheritance, and the connections between different plants and animals.

So how do you declare a roll? Just wondering. Because I have an idea, for something I want to do.

If y'all wanna buy stuff you can have pretty much anything in the PhB as far as provisions go so long as its within 10 GP, you can also do that here if you don't feel like RPing it. Either way though, game has truly started. You now have your 1000 wands of magic missile and can use them whenever you please.

What all can we take from our shops/farms/libraries? Does that still have to be within the ten gold?

Can you tell me anything about the surrounding area or the kingdom we're in? What peoples live here etc.
The kingdom is Mysthvania. It is predominantly human, has a highly populated capital city of Greystone located northwest, which has a large slum district and high crime but also a wealthy trade center and large market place. The current king is Roland, taxes are relatively low with little standing army. There's a large swamp area to the south east of you full of goblins, hermits and lizardfolk nominally independent, east is Bridgeton, a decent sized town with a castle, to the west is Drake'sville, a very rundown town. This is about as much as you would know as far as settlements. The nearby kingdoms are Fascas to the west, known well for its standing army of Golden Knights, and Al-Shabadad, in the desert located much further south east, not much known about them. Other than that not much else would be known to you in particular in terms of geography.

Oh and one more thing, the pantheon of Gods worshipped is largely a Trio and not the typical DnD gods, the main and highest god being Gaius, a Neutral/Neutral Goodish nature god, who breathed life into the world but did little else and is asleep, god of balance and nature. Then there are two twin Gods who are ascended Spirits, Saras and Zarom. Saras is your typical god of good and righteousness, give to the poor, do unto others, etc. While Zarom is basically hedonistic debaucherous satan. These are the most widely worshipped gods among civilized people, with many non-humans including dwarves and elves worshipping Gaius, Saras is widely worshipped by most humans, and Zarom is a typically outlawed cult of baby killing demon summoning assholes. There are other gods as well, but they tend to be minor, regional, small cults, or ancient and forgotten by most.

Just so you know, your library is largely almanacs, basic law codes, degrees of kings, and other basic stuff related to village and this particular kingdom. About a thousand years ago the age of Calamity happened, not much is known about the world before but it was pretty apocalyptic and the world before is not much at all like the world after. Some relics of that age are around and tend to be extremely rare and powerful or unique.
