Democracy is built on majority voters. The migrants will become citizens and will vote left while having lots of kids. The local population who due to a whole host of reasons will not have kids and thus decrease in numbers aka less votes for them.

Quite likely. But it's a long time till 2023, which is when normal elections will happen in Italy. Which is when they will happen unless the current tenuous coalition completely falls apart and calls for earlier ones... Just like Salvini wanted. Which is far from impossible.

Being frank, as I think of myself as something of a globalist but I don't approve of unlimited immigration cause eventually it leads to local population being displaced and the country no longer being that country.
