With that said only an Uber Courier for an Independent Mojave or the NCR/House would likely be able to deal with the alleged Tunneler invasion of the Mojave... And keeping in mind, Ulysses whose the source of it seems smart but not some sort of wildlife migration expert IMHO.

The Legion would perform absolutely terribly in trying to deal with Tunnelers.

The Legion would enslave and weaponize the Tunnlers to reinforce their armies.

Vulpes Inculta will be all like "The eyes of the mighty Caesar are upon you. He appreciates your service, a female no less, and bestows upon you the exceptional gift of his Mark. My Lord requires your presence-."

And the Tunneler Queen will be like: "TO THE BREEDING SEWERS WITH YOU!"

You think Nora ever visited Nate at work up in 'Ronto? Maybe train her so she could put on a suit of power armor? Maybe embed herself on a patrol? Maybe they caught a Canadarian insurgent...

Could've made Fallout 4 a co-op campaign is all I'm saying.

TV show showed that you can use power armor without training but you'd be nowhere near as efficient in movement as properly trained operator. So the way I see it she never got official training but Nate may have told her about his experiences using the armor and answer a few hypotheticals.

In FO2 the chosen one can slip into power armor without training. Which apparently is accurate because a 1 INT MO-RON can believably be an Enclave soldier despite not being able to string a sentence together.

Yeah I think power armor training lore wise just means how well you can move in it. Anyone can wear it but move efficiently is another matter.

We really don't learn too much about how it works, it just moves as you do like generic sci fi power armor, basically magic. Therefore no training required.
