This is something I've been waiting for, for nearly year
War & Combat has now been replaced with Children's Card Games, everybody has now gotten rather used to it, also rich dudes use up so much money on said children's card games now and practice and duel in secret.....I think their sanity is going down
I am saying it is pretty modular. Though, people slamming ponies into everything can get annoying after a while too...

A twist on the usual CKII, where instead of having advisers, you are the adviser. Specifically, you are a Grey Wizard in Stirland, but the thing that sets this quest apart from others is that you eventually leave Stirland, and work for someone else. Some highlights are the Dwarves and Magic.

So after the Mayor dies at the end of Buffy Season 3, Buffy is chosen to be the interim Mayor. It is an episodic quest that keeps the style of Monster of the Week that B:tVS has, while also building on a seasonal narrative (in this case, winning the election). It just finished with the summer after season 3 (very different than canon), and is starting season 4 nowish.

And that's wrong. That can't be. Because if there's one thing that Jack knows, it's that there can't be a Joker without a Batman.
Easily the best DC fanfic I've ever read. It makes magnificent use of lore and characters, weaving narrative and lore more thickly than most actual DC stories. That I get to see a team including Cassandra Cain, Doctor Sivanna, and one of the most creative takes on a Supergirl ever only makes it all the better in my personal opinion. It is definitely worth a look.

Honestly, don’t feel sympathetic towards the guy, or even his followers like Ser Eustace Osgrey from canon on the basis that they only followed him because he was a warrior, nothing to do with his administration-skills or anything

The year is 1998, the BETA invasion of Japan has begun, and the defending force are being overrun by the BETA, as this happen, a strange man appear on the battlefield, armed with a fully equipped prototype A12 avenger and above average skill....
Quite good if I may say, action packed with a rather (truly)heroic MC in character, if not necessarily combat skills.
I recommend it for a good read on mech combat.
