Loved watching Bonanza. Is probably my favorite live action TV show. The show is faced paced and doesn't meander like modern television. The actors are lively and enjoyable to watch. A show that depicts a father and doesn't humiliate him? What is this? Stories with good morals. Pretty costumes and set design and colors. It's one of a handful of shows I keep coming back to rewatch.

When I was growing up I think the shows I watched a lot Comedy wise were

Seinfeld (1989-1998)
The Beverly Hillbillies (1962-1971)
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996)
Frasier (1993-2004)
Garfield & Friends (1988-1995)

I didn't watch many sitcoms past that or comedy shows in general except maybe as background binging for whatever reason.

As for old school non-comedy shows, Walker: Texas Ranger was exceptional entertainment.

Here are other TV Shows that were intriguing from back in the day:
* "The West Wing" (September 22nd, 1999 to May 14th, 2006): 7 Seasons.

* "24" (November 6th, 2001 to May 24th, 2010; May 5th, 2014 to July 14th, 2014; February 5th, 2017 to April 17th, 2017): 11 Seasons including the spinoff "24 Legacy".

* "Friday Night Lights" (October 3rd, 2006 to February 9th, 2011) 5 Seasons: Damn shame this show couldn't get a couple of more seasons.
I should note this show was filmed on location in Austin, TX & Pflugerville, TX 😎

I watched the heck out of the Dukes of Hazzard. Knight Rider, Airwolf, and The A-Team too.
Very much agree with these. These all were all either being aired or re-aired when I was a kid, and I loved watching these. Another thing that was re-aired in my country at the time (and keeps getting re-aired from time to time) is Thunderbirds. (Also Stingray and Captain Scarlet, but those never caught my attention quite as much.)

The Avengers, The Saint and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. were also favourites.

Didn't NBC do a remake of "Knight Rider" back in 2006 or something like that ? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

Bad in terms of awful script or horrible storylines ?
Hmm, I'm thinking more the 1997 ripoff which was... quite bad. Just for starters, one of the major themes that was repeated throughout Knight Rider was "One person doing the right thing can make a difference."

The opener was this...

So yeah, open up with contradicting the main theme of the previous show, also the new cars appear to be basic models rather than something clearly advanced and modified as KITT was (Such as lacking KITT's "Cylon" eye, and having regular dashboards instead of what KITT had). Adding insult to injury, they made them all Fords when KITT was a Pontiac, during a time when people were extremely loyal to the brand. There was a heavy focus on superweapons and supervillains rather than Knight Rider's focus on stopping things like organized crime and protecting the innocent.

The writing was so dumb many fans speculated that the creators were actively trying to make the worst possible spinoff, as a slight against the original creator or to kill the Franchise in order to make room for another pet project.
