Guys, weighty talk of genocide aside (which I will say a lot of folks who took the oath find offensive, including myself, so table it, and don't make me ask in my mod voice).
What Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray have done is make Federal LE hit a new nadir in public confidence we haven't seen since Waco. This was a screwup of the first order. I suspect that's the reason for the silence. Fox News reported the FBI team, which was a DC-based unit, didn't even bother informing the Miami Field Office until just before the raid.
Then you have this bit of news:
Former President Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview to Fox News Digital -- his first since the FBI’s raid of his Mar-a-Lago home last week -- said the "temperature has to be brought down," while stressing that the American people are "not going to stand for another scam."

Simply put, Biden has lost control of his DOJ. If this were any other presidency (other than Clinton, who had other extracurricular interests, as it turns out). Wray and Garland would be packing their offices, and Biden would be giving a "buck stops here" speech. But it doesn't change a simple fact, people are making major unprecedented decisions without so much as a phone call. That's what should scare people. Nobody's got the wheel, and we're careening towards an iceberg.
