And guess what we can do as an advanced society? Stop the spread of disease!
The pathogens responsible for most diseases doesn't last long outside of the human body, we could basically rid entire nations of specific diseases if we really tried, but then we wouldn't need vaccines.

Except...a vaccine will always be needed.
Tourists can bring them with them.
And war, biological and chemical warfare can happen to your citizenry.

Chickenpox has never been close to eradication. Shingles hasn't either because if there not being eradication for Chickenpox.
The only one I know that has been close to being destroyed is Polio and Smallpox, as well as the Plague.

Edit: And they went after and tried to ruin anyone that pushed back on any of it. The pointless lock downs and covid precautions. That ivermectin is a really effective treatment for it. That the vaxx was incredibly dangerous and unsafe. That covid was funded and planned by the dod and the health wizards that lied about every single detail about it to cover their asses. The fact they denied it came from that lab for forever when they knew damn well that's where it was from. That they investigated themselves and found themselves innocent.
