That username is pretty clearly a Qanon account or grifter (17th letter of the alphabet=q) so I’d take this just as seriously as every fake hate crime and death threat out there unless there’s some corroboration.

People do this in general. There's a ton of fake hate crimes, especially from LGBTs, when there's not enough hate to sustain them (see: Jussie Smollet). People think being hated is a way to feel virtuous, and they delude themselves into thinking that this fake is for the greater good, because the hate is everywhere, and this way I can shine a spotlight on it.

The worst part of this is the people who do actually experience hate crimes, because there are enough grifters that it's difficult to tell apart.

I agree. It fits in line with the usual Antifa/BLM/etc rhetoric, but it's way too on the nose to believe as a personally directed threat based on something literally anyone could have printed up.
