I dunno, maybe they'll do another season of SAO Alternative:GGO. That was fine, aside from the amount of lolis.

I like the main tiny pink character in GGO for being so quick, nimble, and agile. I forgot her name but I really do like her. Pitohui is a bitch, though.

Honestly, thinking about it, I don't think there might be more SAO. A1 Pictures, the production studio that makes SAO, is doing another Light Novel franchise now, 86. That seems to be their big now.

Personally, I think it's shit, in that the screenwriters and director insisted on stripping out a lot of stuff that established plot/character logic, which makes a lot of the emotional beats they try to hit not work at all. Especially with the cartoon parody racism on display.

LLEN or Karen when out of game (IIRC, it's been forever since I saw the show).

I thought the first half of S1 was decent. Felt like you were down in the trenches with characters dying left and right to artillery bombardments. Then by the time episode 8 rolled around, they ran out of fodder characters and it was just the 5 guys on the poster left, which sucked the tension out of the show because you knew everyone would survive to the end. S2 began with the perfect opportunity to introduce a new cast of fodders to blow up, but alas. The heroine in S1 was insufferable. At least she's absent in S2 but then they replaced her with a new girl who also isn't very likeable either. The designs of the mecha are cool enough, but I just don't like the 3D CGI, and the show has that plastic look that modern anime has.

The sound design was top notch, though.

Oh yeah, Lena is terrible, but they make her even worse by cutting out all the material that would actually establish that she's a friendless loser who's in a parasocial relationship with people she's never met. That turns her from "annoying clueless slacktivist who doesn't get reality" to "tragically naive girl trying to save her friends," which would make her a lot more tolerable.

Frederica is much less annoying to me due everyone in universe giving her shit.

That said, if you just watch to the end of season 2, episode 10, the show comes to an emotionally satisfying conclusion as everyone dies in a literal suicide mission.

Honestly, I never really felt any real emotions towards the 86 until Fido's flashback, because of how the writers and director did things.

They came across as very "mid", especially in comparison to Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans, which dealt with a lot of the same themes, but with way better writing.

I recently stumbled on a really good anime called "Ergo Proxy" by complete accident. Somehow I had never heard of this series until now and don't really know anyone else who has seen it.

Do you guys think that there will ever be another season of SAO after Season 4?

And what are some of your favorite SAO scenes? One of mine is this one:

I hope not.I read translation of novels, and it ended with him getting harem,Asuna have nothing against it,and his AI child join, too. And adopted sister.
I am normally for harems no matter if it have sense or not,but it is too much even for me.

Ive seen nearly everything on that list, Also one anime I recently watched that I will totally recommend is "No guns life". If you like cyberpunk and film noir you will enjoy that series.
EDIT:
I will also rec Drifters its an Isekai, But its actual historical bad asses getting sent to another world. People like Hannibal Barca Scipio Africanus ect, So its not some shut in loser who is OP for no reason.
