An not untrue observation. We do have, what do you call it, a sister company? Out in the western Europe? They do roughly fuck-all compared to what do we make here, and they are willing to learn comparatively as much of what in the hell they are supposed to (that is, fuck-all).

So, if some kind of collapse happens, I welcome it. I know which country is actually capable of making a decent product, and it's not the western-european one.

The rise of the AfD has been slow but steady. It truly is mind boggling for a party unfaltering in its patriotism to be a major political force in Germany of all places, but this is where we are. I take it as a good sign in all honesty; if it can happen there, it can happen anywhere. Hence why the Left is scared shitless of them.

Well if they had dealt with peoples legitament grivances rather then calling any one who dared disagreed with them racist they might have avoided this. because seriously importing a lot of people during a recession has always been a recipie for discontent.

Not only that, I believe the AfD to be a response to a very strong desire of the Germans, even if it may only be subconscious for many: they wish to reclaim their pride and dignity as a people and a nation. And to do that, they must prize their history and heritage from the cold dead grip of the Nazis; the AfD, having spoken of volk and vaterland, seem to be the ones with a mind to do it.

So long as the memory of both of these movements and the historical impact they cast remain eminently palpable, nationalist parties will always face a wall-if not of actual support, but in terms of people’s minds and hearts.

The presence of actual neo Nazis doesn’t help them either.

As for the left-it’s basically hardwired at this point to think of these parties and the people who support them as racist. Like it’s just not a slur, they genuinely think so. And it’s an effective rhetorical attack as well. So they won’t stop. Their elitism and contempt for the people which they are absolutely incapable of even suppressing for a single minute means they will continue to lose the respect and credence of the population.

Aside from all the other horrendous shit, the Nazis were a cultural and psychological disaster for the West, weren't they? You wouldn't believe how many arguments I get into with Neo-Nazis over how their shit stain of an ideology helped land us in this mess. Not to mention how it beggars belief that Fascists want to tie themselves to Nazism, when they really can throw their arms up and say "hey, this lot were butchering psychopaths. We aren't them."

Fortunately, I think "wolf" has been cried so many times that the word has lost a lot of its power. Hence why Nationalist parties are becoming more appealing across the continent. Nevertheless, reclaiming "Nationalism" from the Nazis must be one of the Right's highest priorities. And to see the German Right of all people do it is very heartening.
