before I begin let me just say that I do not in any way support violence against people of other faiths. People can have their own differing opinions and beliefs. If you are of similar beliefs to the point that you get triggered by a story where a faith is spread and used as a casus belli for war then this isn't the story for you.

Amakusa "Geronimo" Shirō

April 5th, 1636, Hara Castle

The Seige was becoming Grim. Just Yesterday I led a sortie from the castle, in a bid to drive off the Shogun's forces. We managed a great victory. Emonsaku-san estimates that we slew seven hundred of the shoguns men in the attack, but it wasn't without a loss of three hundred of our own.

Sadly however it was for naught, for when I awoke this morning, I found a new banner flying in the wind.

In the distance, further beyond the Uesugi Clan's banner waved, the White, Black and Red threatening of the violence that is yet to come. Uesugi Asahi was not much older than me, but yet he had done so much more than I have. It was said that when Uesugi Kagekatsu died, a Ten no-Tsukai descended from the heavens, foretell that he who would next wield Yamatorige would lead Clan Uesugi to greatness, and that until that man had come, it was to be hidden, until the one destined to wield it came.

At Age fifteen he had bested the very best, rumors of a new Dragon of Echigo swirled, culminating in Uesugi Asahi retrieving Yamatorige atop Mt. Mikunisakai. Even he had heard of the blade, and how upon retrieving it from the shrine built atop the mountain to hold it, the blade turned from the traditional gray from the steel used to a shiny golden color.

Although it was a sin, I find myself envying that man. Born to a great Clan, gifted by God and beloved by the peoples of Nippon. While I had nothing but scorn, born to a lowly retainer and as it seemed, destined to die here in Hara.

I sighed as I looked out over the roaming hills…yet I wonder why they are charging Matsudaira's encampment? Could it be?

Uesugi Asahi

A Cherry Trees blossoms flow,

The inviting wind carried them afar.

Like God Above,

Let his Archangels carry me away if it so be.

I laid my brush down and looked forth, to the enemy encampments. It shall be here that all of my plans shall begin in earnest. My Ambitions lay upon the Shogunate. I Shall etch my name into the History books with this. Either as the savior of Japan, or as a demonic betrayer.

The Fool, Matsudaira Nobutsuna, hadn't even sent an envoy. Likely mistaking me as just another ally in this war. The Fool had left his backside exposed, truly dishonorable. His Arrogance shall become his undoing.

I put on my helmet and mounted Sakura. Unsheathing the blade I turn to my riders. The nineteen hundred Samurai in my employ were all mounted, staring at me, waiting for my orders. I unsheathed Yamatorige and pointed toward the Enemy encampment.

"Today we shall free our Brothers from the yolk of the Shogun's men. These men whom have been led astray by those Demons we know to be the Kami. Their Demonic Gods are an Affront to our Lord. We must show them the Powers of Christ! Shūgeki!" I said, turning Sakura to Charge. The thunder of hooves behind me rumbled. As the Cavalry rode I looked back for a moment, watching as the Archers and Cannons let loose their volleys, sowing

As the Cavalry rode I looked back for a moment, watching as the Archers and Cannons let loose their volleys, sowing chaos in the enemy encampment. The Tents went up enflamed, as we neared I saw one, struck by shock holding the arm that use to be attached to his body.

"Haikyō-sha, you truly dare to stand before me? Kneel and I shall give you the death of a coward like yourself!" I said, not minding the flames of war encompassing us. He stared me down, as I dismounted Sakura, giving her a pat on the rear to send her off. Better that she not get harmed in this battle.

"Why do this? We know that Japan should not have this meaningless bloodshed! Why aid these rebels Uesugi?" he asked, unsheathing his blade. I looked him up and down, assessing his weaknesses. His stance is off, he leans far too much to the right, an easy way to bring him to the ground.

"I shall burn Nippon to the ground, and rebuild it upon the ash." I said, lunging forth. Our blades locking for a moment, before I used my right hand to punch him in the face, quickly pulling back.

"You fight with dishonor!" he said, swinging for me, I dodged out of the way, bringing my armored knee to his chest, the armor there crunching against the superior steel.

"No, I fight to survive." I said, driving my Tachi through the exposed back of his neck, severing the spinal cord. "You are not even worth Seppuku." I said, before slashing at a wooden stake holding the already burning tent. It crashed to the ground, engulfing the man's body. I sent a silent prayer to the heavens, before whistling.

My noble steed Sakura appeared, mounting her I sheath my sword and pulled from my waist a horn. Blowing once I sounded the retreat. Riding out of the encampment. I stopped for a moment, waiting for a moment to ensure all of my men had escaped the encampment. When I felt that the bulk of my men had escaped, I took the horn and blew once more, this time seven times, unleashing Revelations upon the poor fools.

I had brought with me thirty three howitzers. Seven of these Howitzers were made to fire Grapeshot and the other made to fire Carcass shot. To say it was fair in any way was to lie. To lie is to sin, and It would be a lie if I said I would want to be in the place of those besieging Hara. After all, Hell had come to take its due.

If the old me was here he would feel sorry for them, he would order the artillery to stop. But I didn't. The faces of those we passed. Those Japanese crucified for their faith came to mind. I shall become the vengeance for those Martyrs. I shall not forget them, nor shall I let the Shogun forget them.

Well, that's a wrap. not my best work but I've been gone for so long it's the best I can do as of now. Hopefully with time I will get back to the level of writing I was formally at and beyond. I can't give a good estimate to the next release but expect it within the month (?).

Possibe,,but unlikely.Shoguns had very good spies,so they would knew about his howitzers and, more important, being christian.
But,if he manage to hid it,it is possible.

What now? Become shogun,or rule one island? and what about Emperor?
Whatever would happen - do not trust dutch, spaniards or french. All would try to fuck you.
But - pope do not have fleet, but loyal jesuits.Welcome them, they were not fuckers from 2023,but still good people.
Or somebody from Poland,we do not have fleet, too.

Every country with fleet could try attack you.

P.S 1637 rebelion must fall - but, there was possibility of them being evacuated to Philippines,if spaniards knew about them.
