Laptop advice

So I got an older Acer with Windows 10 on it. Unfortunately for whatever reason, I went to go open it and one of the hinges apparently decided it would rather stay closed, and the top came apart and pinched on the screen, breaking it. I tried looking for another cheap replacement (this one cost a little over $400 when I got it), and I can't seem to find one that fits what I'm looking for, which is to say at least 16 GB of memory, an HD that has more than a few hundred GB of space, and an optical drive. Anyone know a decent laptop that would fit those requirements and not cost $1000 or more?

Here is one for under 1,000 dollars

But if you can finance one I recommend this.

The later has more capability and future proofing.

I ended up getting an identical laptop off of evil-bay and swapping my HD and memory into it.
