Middle East News Thread

IAF over Beirut; today is the biggest missile/rocket launch on Israel since 2006.

How nice of Hesbollah to provide the distraction to Israelis during the ongoing colour revolution.

It seems to be the Palestinians that are currently residing in Lebanon since many of the attacks on Israel seem to originate near or around the Palestinian refugee camps.

so, this unexpected, because Netanyahu would the exact contrary anybody tells him to do. Could have it to be with the protests against him?

@Husky_Khan - I question the use "North African" country for Burkina Faso ... also, your Middle Eastern net seems to be growing larger and wider :p

Muslim. Middle Eastern. Same difference.

No but seriously, I do consider a lot of North Africa to be part of the Middle East/North Africa region. I know Burkina Faso, being wedged beneath the Sahara Desert, is probably technically West African but I don't think the going ons in Burkina Faso are worth their own thread to be honest. I doubt anyone actually cares enough to click on a thread about some terrorist attack in that country.

I've started threads on the random Islamist nonsense going on in Mozambique and Mali and Nigeria and the Central African Republic and most of those are pretty dead anyhow, which is fine btw. People shouldn't feel compelled to fake caring or being interested in everything. :p

Jist? Because do not tell me this is some the US conducted false flag for 9/11
