NATO Military News

Ah, but you see, you don't know that the counter to that technology exists either, so there!

Well you joke, but there might well be multiple levels of deeply-classified stuff, and layers of "they know, but we know that they know, but do they know that we know that they know?"

Britain and Sweden are joining the European Long Range Strike Approach to create a longer ranged and more capable cruise missile. France, Poland, Germany and Italy are already members of the project to develop a ground launched cruise missile with a range of upwards of two thousand kilometers by the 2030's.

Yes, why not spend billions instead of buying the available systems on offer.

Germany promises Ukraine 16 more Leopard 2a6.

With Poland expelling a Russian consulate I expect the remaining T-72s will be going to Ukraine soon.

They are older version, besides - Poland still get no more then 200 new tanks. We could not do that.

Poland's planned budget for 2025 has 4,7% of GDP spending on the military.
As long as we are ruled by Tusk,it would be wasted on german shit.Or american shit we do not need, like Apaches.

A surprising move by this government
Children in Poland being taught how to use guns over fears of Russian invasion
We should introduce that long ago.And it do not save us - we still have small army without reserve, and with little ammo.
And Tusk goverment rejected plans to mass produce ammo in Poland.

The first GZPT-t1 'life extension' of some of Turkey's hundreds of M113 APC's to be received by the Turkish Army.

The biggest update is the addition of the SARP Remote Combat Weapons System that will control anything ranging from a Mk19 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher or M2 Heavy Machine Gun to smaller and lighter machine guns. The upgrades also include a new navigation system and air conditioning!

Fifty two M113's are expected to get this upgrade in the coming years.

Finland is planning that by 2032 we will spend 3.3 percent GDP on defense or roughly in today's money 11.5 BN USD. Current defense spending is 6.8 BN USD or 2.4 percent GDP.

This is a remarkable change from the 3 billion or 1.3 percent GDP budget we had last decade.

Italy announced completion of contracts to purchase 21 HIMARS MLRS systems from the United States. These will complement the 21 M270 MLRS Systems already in Italian Service since 2011. Total cost is estimated at just under a billion dollars and include crew training, supply chain expenses and other stuff.

Looks like there's gonna be an East-West divide on NATO spending
Of course.Entire german economy rely on spending as small numbers as possible on military, and since their economy is falling, they could not change that, unless they kick out green madness and come back to atom.

Not mention,Moscov is their real ally.

The Nordic Countries of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark have reportedly agreed to use the same ammunition in their militaries, mostly in reference to artillery ammunition.

This would primarily affect 155mm artillery ammunition as well as 81mm and 120mm mortar rounds. While most of these countries already use equipment with those calibers as standard, differences in manufacturing and sourcing means the rounds oftentimes aren't suitable for all artillery platforms.

Polish factory Jelcz making trucks for polish army do not get permission to built new factory, and production in old would be limited. It could lead to fall of our factory.

How the fuck does a private company need permission to expand?
