She somehow got in the same situation as New52s Powergirl and kept getting her costume shredded

Somehow this one gets torn 90% less of the time?
Or stay with me now. You could have her have a costume that is both feminine and not slutty. The two are not infact mustally exclusive. Seriously the small town God fearing Americaness is a huge part of the Superman mythos.

Okay, Post-New52 DCEU Wonder Woman skirt?

Also, what you just said made me think of this

In revenge for all her foiling of his plans, Lex Luthor finally gets his hands on “The Alien” and turns her into a stepford wife of all things so that she can no longer defy him

He comes to like the occasional defiance that comes in in-spite of the collar

Alternatively, its just a shock collar and he’s got her powers nullified, the stepford wife thing is to break her down

Superwoman defying him in spite of both gives him a challenge of sorts

Indeed.

Got a better idea, work with how the dynamic would change between Luthor and a female version of Superman. Maybe, depending on the version they never fell out and friendship grew into something more. Maybe, just maybe Luthor instead of seeing her as a threat, sees her as something that can be aspired to, due to their relationship that though he is above other men, he is proof that humanity can touch the sun for a time, and perhaps even surpass it temporarily as well...

Martha would 100% prevent that costume. Small Town Methodist family.
Rebellion against small-town values--especially very conservative ones--does have a tendency to happen. 'Pastor's daughter' syndrome as the go-to exemplar of it, and a prospective 'Claire Kent' having an alter-ego...Lots of barely-concealed subtext there on personal issues and self-image that could make for story fodder in ways Clark Kent wouldn't really get into much because...being seen as slightly nerdy is what I recall him suffering from at worst (disclaimer: I have read no Superman and actually know little of the character so...Trust nothing I say).

On other topic, two vague bits & bobs floating in the back of my mind trying to distract me from what I should be working on and papers I need to write:
For The Legend of Zelda
-A reimagining of Hyrule as a vaguely steampunk/dieselpunk setting where magic has faded into obscurity and become a lesser or even derided option as most of the country gravitates towards engines and mechanical power and the like. Street tough of unknown origin, named Link of course, runs across some manner of nefarious criminal underbelly-deeds that forces him into some wild adventure across the country trying to restore the magical [x] and the like, perhaps with the aid of a Zelda with a 30s-50s femme fatale feeling to her. 'Legend of Zelda with guns and zeppelins' as the vague theme that appealed to my inner child.
-Perhaps in combination with the above or as its own thing...A story where the Triforce that fits each character is 'shifted', and so is their 'role' in the story. So Link becomes the villain and gets either Power or Wisdom as his hat/trait, Ganon becomes either the protagonist or an ally/potential-love-interest and gets either Wisdom or Courage, and Zelda serves as either the protag or LI to Ganon and gets either Power or Courage--with my own preference being the latter getting 'Power' and serving as the protagonist just because that seems like it'd be a fun 'reversal' story to write as a powerful-but-naive and sheltered Zelda has to organize some kind of 'Royal Restoration' against a Link who was once the leader of the guard and couped her parents...All as Ganon is some self-interested, maybe-ally on the sidelines who's more bandit/robin-hood than a classical hero ala Link.

While that is true(and really awesome alot of times). The issue with a rebellious Kryptonian us well injustice. Basically any time (barring like 1 example) Clark isn't a total boyscout. The world is screwed because he becomes a conquer. That's a serious problem when the guy can take a supernova to the face and bench press Jupiter. Know what I mean?

That include when he snapped Zod’s neck and stabbed Doomsday in the heart in the DCEU

Seriously, why does nobody complain about the latter? He killed again

Doomsday is a ravening beast. Zod is a man, and in some respects a good man, in many others he is bad, but overall he was just a man with lasereyes and his death wasn't needed. All Superman needed to was...fly up.

And that family was at fault for huddling in fear instead of running away too, right?

My Hero Academia!Marvel Based Idea: In an AU, the number of mutants and other types/origin of superhuman for whatever the reason keeps on increasing

People for whatever the reason are easily mutated and gain superpowers from all sorts of exposure even without an X-Gene

The future of this Marvel AU is one where the majority of the population is superpowered, but with powers being to varying degrees useful or just in appearance

Along the way anti-mutant terrorist groups expand to include being anti-superhuman in general as a “worthy cause”

Here both the X-Men and Avengers along with other superhero teams/organizations come to work together more frequently to deal with the rising superhuman population alongside other threats like alien empires seeing earth as too dangerous

I am pretty sure they are just running defense, though really it is a massive plot hole anyways. You could probably drive an eighteen wheeler through it.

Okay

That said, I stopped watching Honest Trailers more than a year ago anyhow.....I felt that they’re becoming or have become shills for whatever the reason

Since there was a Superman AU idea posted already, I don't feel too awkward posting a new one:

Leslie Willis, aka Livewire, started out as a radio shock jock who bashed Superman. So let's keep that going, but with a Twist:

- - -

Riding the Metro Rail to work wasn't glamorous, but there were times Leslie just wanted a feeling of normalcy. Of being a working class joe, so to speak.

Yet even with her disguise and the fact she was a radio star, someone still picked her out of the crowd.

"Hey! It's Livewire! I'd know that voice anywhere!" The fan was large, stocky, and hairy. He was grinning with an eager, obsessed expression: One that spread to others around the platform. Leslie smiled tightly, as the fan and others moved in.

"Yeah. Look, I gotta get to work and-!"

"I listen to you every day! Can I get an autograph?" The man demanded, advancing on her. Similar requests came from others, and Leslie felt boxed in. She glared at the fan, and batted away his hand.

"Look pal, I'm not in the mood, so if you'll just back off-!"

The man reached for her again, and she slapped him away. He pushed forward, and she went for her mace. His hands landed on her, and she lashes out with a kick. But her timing was off-As the blow connected with his stomach, his arms spasmed and shoved her.

She fell, the wind whistling loudly in her ears. She hit the tracks hard, crying out in pain. She heard the train whistle, and looked to her right. The gray bulk was closing on her, fast, massive! She took a breath, what she was sure was her last-!

Strong hands seized her and yanked her up into a warm, firm embrace. She clung to whoever it was tightly, shuddering as the mass of the train roared by scant inches away.

Leslie opened her eyes and saw kind, deep blue ones staring back. Covered in round, plain glasses. She felt his heartbeat, slow and strong and reaasuring against her hard pounding chest.

"Are you all right?" He asked gently, in a comforting voice. Leslie managed a nod.

"Y-Yeah... Yeah... Thanks," she managed shakily. The man set her down, but her arms didn't part. She got a good look at her hero, and felt herself biting her lower lip.

He was tall, broadshouldered, and tanned: He was clearly a man who knew how to work, and work hard. His hair was black and neatly coiffed, and his suit, while a plain blue, was well pressed. He smelled of the earth, the wind and pure man. His jaw was a broad, strong lantern and made him look like a Greek god, and his eyes...

He cleared his throat, and Leslie became aware of people chattering around them, a police whistle, and the hiss of train brakes. The man smiled at her, and she quickly pulled away. She couldn't look at him all of a sudden.

"Thanks," she managed in a more formal tone. The man nodded.

"Might want to pull your mace sooner, next time," he said. Leslie turned back to him, managing a smirk.

"Or a boot to the balls."

The man chuckled, and nodded. "Would be faster," he admitted. He turned, and Leslie found herself clearly her throat.

"So uh, got a name, Big Blue?" She asked. He turned to look back at her, hesitating... Then he smiled and shrugged.

"Clark Kent. Out of Smallville," he introduced himself. Leslie smiled back.

"I'll have to remember that," Leslie replied.

Leslie Willis, later Livewire, begins to care deeply for Clark Kent. But she hates Superman. And can't tell they are the same guy. Let the hijinks commence.

What's this sort of "relationship" called? I've seen it in other superhero comics before, I think.

Idea: Before the start or invasion of Aristillus by the US/UN "Liberation" forces, the entire areology and the guys who live in/around it, like the genetically engineered talking dogs and Super AI who needs lots of databanks and their recruitment spaceships

All end up Beyond-The-Wall right after the events of Robert's Rebellion

An entire city of Ancaps+Ancap Sapient Dogs+Not Crazy Like Skynet ends up living right next to or around Wildlings and near the Lands of Always Winter

Culture Clash occurs between the Ancaps and the Wildlings, Wildlings are confused about how the first's idea of "freedom" does NOT mean it's okay to raid, pillage and rape

She'd be tsundere towards him. As she was in the Superman Adventures comics.

Tsundere? That'd mean she'd be denying she likes either of them

Also, going back to my idea, what do you think would be the best sort of culture clash between Ancaps, Wildlings and people in a feudal society?
