Yup. The IJ is basically "what if the ACLU was actually doing its job?" and are suing. But the real thing is that this is why I'll never wear a thin blue line shirt. Because your average cop will do this if instructed to do so. It seems to me that cops are ultimately just order followers, not heroes.

That being said, I do know some individuals who are officers and also great people and good friends. It's the organizations that I have a problem with, more than individual officers. They get judged on an individual basis for me.

That being said, I do know some individuals who are officers and also great people and good friends. It's the organizations that I have a problem with more than individual officers.

My issue with individual officers starts when they put the organization above their duty to serve the people. Many nice people will do this when the rubber hits the road.
