Yup. The IJ is basically "what if the ACLU was actually doing its job?" and are suing. But the real thing is that this is why I'll never wear a thin blue line shirt. Because your average cop will do this if instructed to do so. It seems to me that cops are ultimately just order followers, not heroes.Huh. Well that's... not great. Definitely seems like a 4th amendment violation.

That's not new though. It's just new that you realize that they'll stomp on you too. They always have just obeyed orders regardless of morality. The cops decided they were mercenaries who followed the orders of who ever paid them in 2020 now they will be treated as such.
What's new is the right finally waking up and not being bootlickers all the time. That's not new though. It's just new that you realize that they'll stomp on you too.
My issue with individual officers starts when they put the organization above their duty to serve the people. Many nice people will do this when the rubber hits the road. What's new is the right finally waking up and not being bootlickers all the time.
You know you done fucked up when your biggest support group turns against you.
Fuck the police.
That being said, I do know some individuals who are officers and also great people and good friends. It's the organizations that I have a problem with more than individual officers.
