I can't really find fault with him for deciding that he doesn't want to be a priest any longer and resigning.

That celibacy vow isn't natural and the gal is very good looking. She also writes kinky things. If I wasn't married I'd be tempted to ask her about the kinds of X-rated things she'd be willing to do with me.

I read your title and thought "sounds like some religious bullshit," and then what do you know, it was some religious bullshit.

He has seen the truth . He has found the path to true enlightenment. Hail Satan ! Hail Satan !

The Lady was to the Good Bishop what the Serpent had been to Eve :)

BTW - thinking of it, IMO the whole affair is oddly reminiscent of the lyrics of Norwegian Reggaeton by Nanowar of Steel:
Nórdico latino, qué luciferino! [A Latino Nordic, how satanicaly metal!]
Mata al enemigo, pero despacito [Kill the enemy, but slowly]
Vamos a bailar en la Playa del Mal [Go party at Evil Beach!]
Mueve tu cintura, con mi armadura [Taking off your belt with my armour]
Satanás me sube la temperatura [Satan makes my blood boil]
Vamos a bailar en maligno ritual [Let us make merry in an evil ritual]

He is responsible, but he shouldn't have read it. He shouldn't ever put himself in a situation where he tempted.
We face temptation every day. Constantly. One must be strong enough to resist those temptations.

However, I can agree that One way to avoid unnecessary temptation is to not expose yourself in the first place.
I am speaking as a non religious person though.

I understand. I am merely pointing out that certain things are harmful for you to be exposed to.

As a faithful Catholic, I am convinced by faith and reason of the existence of the spiritual entity called the Devil and of his cohorts. Thus, invoking him or imagery associated with him is dangerous, and I must confirm that it is dangerous when the topic comes up.

Or, to put it simply:

Yes, viewing or reading satanic themed pornography is dangerous. Don't take schmuck bait for the soul.

It's not the fire, it's the fire suppression system.

Too good and you've got conflagarations looking for an excuse. Not good enough and there are fires everywhere.
