The same CCP who it turns out is not ready for nuclear war because it's generals sold the rocket fuel to their ICBM stockpiles? The same CCP whose auditors said their rocket and icbm forces may as well have water in their fuel tanks due to the storage conditions and low grade of the fuel that is there? Hahahaha!

Mearshimer would rather blame the west for what Russia's done than admit he and his ilk were wrong about Russia in 2009-14 when everyone followed their advice about how cultivating economic ties, diplomatic concessions, and turning a blind eye to some "minor" invasions would soothe Russian paranoia that Bush stoked. It seemed to work for a while but it turns out Russian paranoia is as strong as vatniks think the Russian military is.
Ahhhh, so it was always a false hope due to the entirety of the ossues that plagued the soviets.

Russia will never see the US as anything other then the enemy
More vatnik's favorite academic spinning vatnik's favorite bullshit to some retired politician who needs an extra buck, typical.
Ahhh okay

Well, looks like Russia is going to see General Winter turned against it.

Once those radiator pipes burst from freezing water, the damage to the system becomes very hard to repair in reasonable time frames.

Maybe having centralized heat for huge cities, instead of heat generators/furnaces in every house/unit, is a bad idea.

Beautiful. So the problem in Moscow oblast spread. I thank the gods for this ironic outcome. I'm warm down here instead of freezing to General Winter 🙃

>locking up the Japanese
Did you even read the article's title, nevermind thought about the event it refers to, not wondering why it refers WW1, not WW2?
Apparently you have no better argument that to bring up a different event merely brought up in the article.
How desperate are you to sound smart? We're discussing taking Russian assets, so fuck off I literally addressed the seizure of property in my post. Your "argument" was so easily destroyed you had no response other than now playing dumb because you quickly jumped to an event as a gotcha and didn't realize it was one the US paid back 3x over, under Reagan none the less. Not my fault you didn't know about the reparations when you used the seizure, and yes internment, of Japanese as a crux. Again your ignorance shows since you clearly aren't aware the two went hand in hand.

Where the fuck did you get the idea "i used the seizure and internment of Japanese as a crux"?
You fucking imagined it, that's where you got it from.
>I point out that USA confiscated German property in WW1 and AFAIK never paid for that
>You point out that USA interned the Japanese in WW2 and paid reparations for that
How the fuck does the latter counter the former? Those are completely separate events of different kinds, one being internment, other - confiscation, with the situation regarding Russia being much closer to the latter.
I would say your argument is bad, but you have no argument, you are clowning around.

Because it was literally the only point you made, thus it was a crux. Even if we're discussing Germany that still doesn't change the fact that we were in a total war against them and we are not with Russia. So I'm not "clowning," I proved the only rebuttal you had wrong and at this point you've just continued to double down on ignorance.

I think you might be retarded or something. Unless you have something else to point to regarding what we were actually discussing, the seizing of property, then fuck off as so far you've just been strawmanning and making attacks personal attacks. Seems you lack the capacity to engage in a real conversation.

Quote me.
This is your reply to my historical comparison.
Most of the article is about Germany, the title refers to Germany, i specifically refer to seizure of private property, not internment, in my commentary, just in case someone was not sure i was referring to the case of Germans.
Explain to me how a person with a three digit IQ can, in light of that, come to a conclusion that the internment of the Japanese was the crux of my argument.
Then you jump out of the woods with your pearl clutching that i picked the " one of the most controversial acts in the last couple of centuries, one that the country has apologized and paid 1.6 billion in reparations for?".
What the bloody fuck are you talking about?

Yes, you are clowning.

LMAO, you first imagine i made a comparison to internment of the Japanese, now you insult me, get lost village idiot.

Likewise, guess since you simped for that retarded troll earlier seems like whatever mental disease he has have spread.

A total creep

As anybody can tell at a glance, this is a map centred on Rostov-na-Donu. Is that the city in question?
-57C? Isn't that going into the Guiness Book of Records?
What is "eastern Russia"? Volga region? Urals? Yakutia?
A shit-tweet, I'd say ...

It isn't about record breaking.
It is about bit having ways ti heat your home in a meaningful capacity when radiators won't work due to power outage

It's a Steppe. A frozen desert that stretches from Dnipr to the Pacific. There's nothing to stop the Arctic winds until you hit the Caucasus Mountains and the Persian Plateau. -57C with the wind is common in winter. It gets worse the further east you go away from industrial pollution and heat with Yakutsk holding the record for coldest year round city in the region.

It's also not the point of the post. Their infrastructure is breaking down and with the lack of fireplaces in Soviet Urban settlements a lot of people will die. Everything is run off Soviet Era oil or gas burning city grid heating. They built their cities like the Frostpunk game for cheapness and efficiency. With no contingencies whatsoever should the grid fail.

The exploitation is just a side benefit for the displaced and dead Ukrainians right?

They mean whatever you want them to 🤠

Edited: Being a bit dickish, no coffee yet
Said Ukrainians who have been dealing with this since 2014 and have been engaging against the little green men of the Russians ans the separatists.
The displaced Ukrainians fled an active war zone.
What they should ahev stayed and died to the constant bombing the Russians are giving and mad even more deaths?

I read one of his book - dude is intelligent, but stupid.

He belive, that we still live in 19th century when Empires could made deals lasting century. It simply is not true -
China do not want deals, but domination, the same goes for Moscov.Sad thing is - USA are ruled by democrats, and they once gave half of Europe to Moscov for notching in 1945.
So,they could do the same again.

In other news, apparently Gonzalo Lira (Coach Redpill to the wider internet) has died in Ukrainian custody.

Now keep in mind that this man has "died" before so there's a chance it might just be click bait of a variety. But that aside, as you can imagine, the pro-Russia crowd is already trying to martyr him.

Fucker should have been shot as a spy when he gave the AA position/unit position photo's to the FSB, or tried to.

Ukraine was really merciful with him, then he kept trying to help Russia from within Ukraine, and then got caught trying to flee to Hungary when he was told not to leave Ukraine by their intel services.

So if he died from his unhealthy, scummy life-style catching up with him, no tears need be shed.

I mean, I don't speak ill of the dead as a matter of habit but...Ukraine gave him a lot of offramps before they fully arrested him.

Poor old Gonzalo didn't exactly help himself...
