So basically they are saying we are waiting to see if he is innocent or guilty.
Considering the videos of what happened is freely available and there are numerous videos going through them and why Rittenhouse's shootings were legitimate acts of self defence, they should be supporting him. Even if it turns out that he's convicted, they should still be standing with him. Considering their company's logo is the very same rifle he used and they've been supported/pushed by pro 2A people/channels, they have all of the reason to stick with the principals they appeared to espouse.

They kinda have to be careful as a company though.
If he is convicted killer and donated, we already know the left is more then willing to go after EVERYONE. They went after BRCC Matt Best and Eli Doubletap when they gave money for a Sheriffs office to get a rescue boat.

They are trying to make it so thy can not be charged with some crime the left will find

Not having companies stick their dicks into current affairs and social justice controversy is a good thing. I'd prefer BRCC never commented on the Rittenhouse thing but whatever. Kinda like how they didn't comment on all the other times their gear was worn during 1/6 or the anti-lockdown protests or whatever.

Nice to see loads of people willing to shit on them and go back to Starbucks or whatever. I guess the New York Times activists wrote up a good enough article then. :p

Anyhow here's an archived link for everyone who actually wants to read a backup of the NYT article (in case their subscription isn't working). (y)

Not that I'm a big consumer of BRCC. Their zombie movie was funny af though.

There's also the shitheads that send Evan Hafer antisemitic messages because he's Jewish and found out he donated to Obama's campaign back in 2008 because he lost a bet. I wonder of getting hundreds of bits of hate mail for not being puritanical enough from Groyper Clowns as well as the standard leftist Social Media outrage mobs and mainstream media resistance kool-aid can affect ones view of things.

Matt Best and Eli Doubletap are both known to be Pro law enforcement and pro justice. They are also VERY pro 2a and pro military. They are the ones that do the marketing and videos for the company more then Hafer

The reason this cancel culture has worked as well as it has, though, is because people and especially companies have not stood up to these bullies. Also, when they say shit like what was quoted, all I can really say for them is that it's their money to lose. Honestly they sound no different that the people who have been ruining various entertainment franchises when they say they don't want people like us as fans. To me it's like they're talking out of both sides of their mouth because they've marketed very hard to the pro-2A crowd and now we have an example of where there was a legitimate use of it, and now they're caving to the anti-2A crowd. I have no stake in it myself as I never developed a taste for coffee, but I did rather enjoy their marketing, the entire point of which seemed to me to be to troll said anti-2A crowd, yet now this is their attitude?

AFAIK Hafer was never the face of the company once Best joined.

Eh it's pretty clear that BRCC were at best centerists that saw a market opening. The bit about backing open marxists like BLM really sold it for me. They buy one hundred percent in the leftist narrative and damn anyone that tries to disagree. They will one hundred percent go down in flames. They are a niche brand that just can't stop shooting at their customer base.

If you clicked on the tweet, it talks about how they want to rename one of their coffee brands Black Lives Matter. Because that will piss off the terrible racists that drink their coffee.

From the New York Times hit piece:

If that was the case, I asked, had Black Rifle — which sells a Thin Blue Line coffee — considered changing the name of its Beyond Black coffee, a dark roast it has sold for years, to Beyond Black Lives Matter? Surely that would alienate the racists polluting its customer base.

Hafer began to laugh. “You wouldn’t do that,” I ventured.

“I would never do that,” Hafer replied. “We’re trying to be us.”

The stuff before that certainly painted a different picture. As did their total disregard for their supporters. If you present yourself as an explicitly right-wing company, you're expected to back right-wing cultural stuff. The same way that explicitly left-wing companies like Starbucks back all their various liberal causes. The time to play that 'We're just a business we can't take sides.' game was before they picked a side.

Evan Hafer made an almost ten minute video explanation on the fallout from the successful New York Times hit piece.

Also Matt and Evan did an interview with Dana Loesch.

An already extremely woke and liberal company has decided to no longer sell its novelty ice cream in the "Palestinian Occupied Territories" of the West Bank and East Jerusalem... but not in Israel proper where they still have an ice cream factory operating.

I mean... I guess that's... a slight... against Israel? It's certainly meant to be but... now the Palestinians aren't getting ice cream? I don't know...
