Alternate History The Cherokee get a standing Army

In this scenario 1 year before the events that would lead to the Trail of Tears. The ROB gives the Cherokee Nation a standing Army. This army is 50,000 men strong and is armed with these weapons.

M1 Garand - Wikipedia 40,000 Rifles
M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle - Wikipedia 10,000 Rifles
M1911 pistol - Wikipedia 50,000 Pistols.

They have 10 Million Rounds for each weapon.
They have repair and cleaning kits for each weapon
They have armories for all of these weapons

Each soldier in the Cherokee Army have the skills of a World War II combat Veteran. The Cherokee for the purposes of this debate have no intention of invading their neighbors. They just want to be left alone. How does the existence of this Army affect future events in the Southeastern US.

Special Note: The ROB has made it so that none of these weapons can be stolen or sold for a period of 70 years. So no world power will be able to get a copy to back engineer. And if they try to sketch blueprints said prints will burst into flame upon leaving Cherokee Territory.

Edit: How does President Jackson react to the discovery of this new Army?

Then they could conqer both USA and Mexico.Becouse both countries had small, shitty armies then.
70 years ban would not help in spreading technology - somebody would discover modern rifle on his own,and their advantage would end.
If you wont really help them, gave them real battle magic used only by Cherookes.

Conquering is one thing. Holding and pacifying an armed population is a whole nother animal.

Wouldn't they just cunt punt Jackson back to Virginia then sell their services out to Calhoun as a guaranteer of Southern Autonomy? The Cherokee by this point were eagerly assimilated (which IIRC was what made Jackson's actions so contentious), owned slaves themselves and IIRC a generation later a few tribes were ardent rebs.

My guess is you'd see a very different geopolitical US but they wouldn't overthrow it or anything..westward expansion might happen sooner as Cherokee mercenaries help the Union knock over the plains tribes and Mexico sooner....But my understanding was that the majority of the Cherokee weren't about restoring the old, Pre-Jamestown order so much as wanting to be recognized as fellow patriots and to be allowed to do their part for the America they helped build.

The Cherokee could survive without any rob shenanigans. Just make Jackson actually obey the law and voila.

Jackson not telling the SCOTUS to eat a bag of dicks erases a rather dangerous historical precedent that likely changes the US more than the modern guns shoved into the Middle of the nineteenth century.

Well that and if the Comanche submit in exchange for being part of this future legion, US warfare going forward would be drastically different.

Imagine the pacific war with MacArthur counting Cherokee and Comanche generals under his command.

We would have fought the empire on their terms if you get my meaning.

Asia would be a gigantic graveyard

Thats assuming the US isn't fighting a cold war with the CSA that goes hot. Not that the confeds would join the Axis. If anything they'd be in the fighting on behalf of the allies before the US

I bring this up because

Lincoln not having precedent behind him to tell SCOTUS to fuck off means he can't do a lot of the more morally dark things he did to win.

Then again there probably isn't an ACW at all in this scenario with the North opting to body southerners in economics until they realized slavery is retarded and holding them back.

Which the Cherokee could be big on given the modern tribes are some of the more capitalistic out there and in this timeline fuckers would need factories not slaves.
