Just saw the Quartering's vid about how they removed Gina Carano from the official art.
Looks like they're going be permanently removing her from the next few seasons because of her "unacceptable" political views.
Welp, at least they saved me the money of getting Disney plus, because the only reason I was even remotely interested in the Mando was because of Gina Carano.
GO WOKE, GO BROKE!

oh they better not!

That sounds like a giant case of jumping to conclusions. It's been widely expected that she will not necessarily be present in Season 3 of the Mandalorian because she's going to be one of the main characters in Rangers of the New Republic.

They erased her character from a piece of official art and then stuck Ashoka in her place.
I think that's a pretty obvious sign.

Darth Kennedy the Woke has more power than Favreou and Filoni.
You think they are stupid enough to hurt one of thier biggest franchises?

Is that real?

What, Rangers of the New Republic? The series was officially announced already, was explicitly stated to be set in the same time period as The Mandalorian, and has an obvious tie-in already in place with the law enforcement badge and "Marshal" title that was bestowed on Cara by the New Republic.

They were stupid enough come up with the flame dumpster fire called the Sequel trilogy and the bullshit called the "Not High Enough Republic".
Stupidity is the norm in Disney Lucasfilms.
They arnt stupid enough to go against thier money maker Jon Favreou.

Haven't you heard about the brewing conflict at Lucasfilms between the Empire of Darth Kennedy the Woke and the Order of Favreou and Filoni?
And havnt you heard Disney is favoring Favrou after how he handled Mando?

Disney at the end of the Day loves money more than wokeness. Why do you think they are shit canning the Sequel Trilogy Stuff at Galaxy's Edge and putting in Mandelorian themed stuff.

I would point out that the revamp of Galaxy's Edge with Mandalorian themed stuff is only a rumor at this point, and that unless they're doing an older Mando, it goes against the idea of Galaxy's Edge being an actual place in Star Wars at an actual point in time. It was mostly floated by an article in Collider, but I have to point out that said article got key points wrong -- for example, the TIE Echelon at Galaxy's Edge isn't a "leftover design from Episode IX" at all, it was custom-designed for Galaxy's Edge because the existing shuttle designs were too large to fit into the park area at 1:1 scale.

Edit: Yeah, the podcast cited by Collider is someone who's pretty much just a BNF of the Disney parks with no knowledge of the Star Wars side, and he's just saying that Disney "always" folds popular new properties into Disneyland so "of course" they're going to have the Mandalorian characters as meet-n-greets, and having the Razor Crest there is purely him speculating "wouldn't that be cool".

Yes, because social justice is more important to them than making money. Which is why Kennedy has to be kicked out of Disney and Lucas Arts. What has she ever contributed to Star Wars anyway? She's just a leech.

I would point out that Kennedy was personally hand-picked by George Lucas as someone that understood and would carry forth his vision for Star Wars. Lucas in fact felt so strongly about this that he paid an enormous premium to hire her away from the production company she co-founded (Kennedy/Marshall), specifically to bring her into Lucasfilm as co-chair specifically to manage the transition to Disney, and specifically under the terms that Disney was required to promote her to company president.

While fans love to hate her, the fact remains that Kennedy is one of the most successful producers in Hollywood, with a career running all the way back to Raiders of the Lost Ark.

My understanding is Lucas picked her because they had a long-standing working relationship - she worked with Spielberg since 1941(the movie, not the year), and Lucas worked with her for a large number of the movies she worked in as a member of Spielberg's team.

What I don't know(and will never know the answer with certainty) is whether she truly is a successful producer or she was a producer in successful movies, due to her being in Spielberg's staff. In terms of her own career, it doesn't matter - she's seen as the genuine article. I'd argue her resumé doesn't matter much here(other than to explain why she got the job), what matters is her tenure as LucasFilm boss is rather... controversial, to say the least.
