Asylum in Russia is temporary, they do not recognise long term refugee status. If you want to stay there you have to become a citizen which means you have to know the language and can pass a test on it. Also Russian history and culture. You'll also be needing a job in one of the preferred sectors which as you have no offers or experience in may be a challenge. English teacher might be the easiest to game for but again you'll need to speak Russian.
I'd guess you can bypass this by being very rich or selling state secrets but otherwise you're going to need to learn Russian and qualify as a teacher at the absolute minimum, or else you'll be out after a year or so.
Also if you think Canada is an oppressive state that abuses its power to fuck over people and you want to escape that, Russia is an unusual choice given its record on human rights, torture, state sanctioned murder and more.
They also offer investor visas, as do many other potential safe havens.
For permanent residency I'd look into places like Georgia and Armenia.
English skills, teaching or otherwise, might net you more options there and life in Georgia for example is pretty cheap.
If you have 100k and more that you can invest, and I think you can qualify buying a house as an investment, then that should work, too.
Me,I'd stay away from the pricey big cities like Moscow and St.Petersburg and look into areas further south-east.
Anyway, here is more King Lobster tearing into Justin Turdo-Castro:
