Things get worse in The Southwest

Increasingly, I don’t think these plans are anything but window-dressing. The point is to make the well-off people who support and propose them feel good about themselves, not actually solve problems. That is why they don’t really care if they actually work.
It's the fact that they never reflect on the results of their actions, and just repeat them ad nauseam, that proves it. If they simply went "well that clearly didn't work; we need to dig deep and figure out what went wrong with our approach, before we even think to try this again" they might actually accomplish something other than waste the taxpayer's time and money. But no; that's actually what they intend to accomplish, it seems.

The moment the Business Democrats who are Businessmen decide that these policies can affect them negatively and actually reflect on it.....I think it won’t look pretty when they start calling people into their office or contact the politicians they’re supporting

Or they find to their horror that types like Bernie Sanders and AOC are too entrenched for them to just withdraw support

Don't worry it's only a State Funded Travel Ban... so not as racist as your typical travel ban.

This is in response to Florida, Montana, Arkansas, West Virginia and North Dakota passed laws limiting Transwomen from participating in School Sports.

Good, less Commiefornians spreading their bullshit.

Apparently the number of States where State of California employees cannot go on non-essential State Business because bigotry is now 17 :)
Can you imagine what will happen when they decide that free travel isn't good enough and that they have to block companies in those states using their ports for transporting goods into the country or through California?

I'm fairly sure that this would violate the Constitution. Several parts of it, in fact.
But I could be wrong, I'm no savant.

I've no idea either but it's what popped into my head upon reading about it and what would be the next step after forbidding travel. I would imagine that a state forbidding it's citizens from going to another state would also be illegal or deciding that if you reside in California for a few weeks of the year (even if you're only there on business trips) you'd be legally required to pay taxes to California.

Oh, it very much would.

They can't take any other next steps. They can ban state funds being used for travel but that's it. Restricting the movement of private citizens is an absolute no-no.

Time for us to get smacked by the surpreme court again.
