Trump Investigations Thread

I think the expectation is that, once they get rid of Trump, they don't have to worry about the precedent being used against them; because with him gone, they assume the RINOs can then take total control over the Republican party, and force it to serve the Democrats forever.

The problem with that is that the base has been pissed at the Rinos for over 30 years now and that was before the rise of the populist movement. Their in the process of being purged, its going to be a long process a long rebuilding but while that's going on the left is going to continue to piss off the mass of americans because apparently they just cant help themselves.

Its going to be a long painful process but Trump very much is the begining of the end for them and thats why their freaking the fuck out.

I mean, what makes you think that MAGA will succeed where the Tea Party failed?

The worse state of affairs in the USA now vs then? As well as the rise of the internet making citizen reporters more viable? Or is there something I am missing?

Maga has achieved real political power. Some of the best voices from the Tea Party are still there (Massie for example), who know how the previous stuff failed. We are also watching a changing of the guard. Constant speaker no-confidences, Lara Trump as the head of the RNC, and Mitch McConnell quitting. The reins of power are being grabbed by MAGA.

Maga was the moment where the discontent finally bubbled over the pot when it hit critical mass.

You should treat it as something in its infancy, and the current establishment as a man in his prime. Infants have a poor tract record against grown men. But in 30 years it will be a young man against an aging increasingly decrepit one. And when the century ends it will be a man in his prime against an ancient dottering one.

The tea party was the fetal stage of this movement as was the failed reform party, there are always numerous failures before the birth of a true populist force that kills modernity.

I hope so. And hope it happens quick enough that it’s not too late to correct the USA’s direction. Still, let’s not count our chickens before the globalist RINOs are driven to extinction. Or at least put on the severely endangered list.

Given the state of affairs, let’s hope it does not take 30 years. I don’t think we have that much time.

I'm worried the Dems broke so much shit in 4 years of Biden that all Trump being 'allowed' to 'win' again will might mean is he takes the fall for Biden's fuck-ups, and his own parties fuck-ups as well, when shit pop's off or breaks for good. If Trump get's the Oval, but Dem's control both Chambers, things could get very interesting in unpleasant ways.

The term 'lame duck presidency' and 'make the GOP own the Oval when the shit breaks and there is no way to hide it' come to mind. Remember what the Dems did from the second it became clear Trump was going to beat Hillary.

I think the Dems are planning for 2028 right now, and the GOP needs to as well, because the question of 'who comes after Trump' is one we need an answer for from the GOP sooner rather than later.

Have had some similar concerns about Trump being allowed to win to take the fall for Biden. Rather like how Democrats like to take the credit for a good economy started under Republicans.

As far as most of the GOP is concerned, after Trump just means ‘back to normal’ for them.

Ironic considering how they've enabled so many "Trump-proofing" "anti-dictator" failsafes I'd be surprised if he could get any of his campaign promises done. (He famously failed to imprison Hillary Clinton for example)

I'm not too worried. Oddly, BIden ended up taking part of the fall for the Pandemic because he won. Trump didn't handle the pandemic well, and was partly responsible for inflation. PPP and other handouts did happen under Trump too. But given that inflation took a little while to hit, and Biden put his foot on the gas, he gets 100% of the blame.

Also, there's zero chance Dem's want to 'allow' Trump to win. If they are at all in control, they'd do anything to stop it, they have complete TDS.

Maybe. Or maybe we are underestimating them. Seeing the mask they put on for their followers and thinking it is their face.

some are that smart. they don't have control of the rampaging elephant they've unleashed though. look at how the older more moderate lefty types are in shock over how the millenials and zoomers they've groomed to be good anti-colonial types who will stand up for the oppressed are fighting for Palestine. Actively and openly raising money for Hamas. cornering and shouting down Jewish students and teachers on college campuses. The Dems are pretty likely to get pretty crazy in the near future as the more level headed boomers and gen Xers start aging out. people don't change their minds on deeply held political beliefs often. they just age out and a younger voting block ages in. either that or stay home.

Funny how they had no problem with them until they started attacking Jews. Because I’m pretty sure I’ve seen more of a response to that than them supporting Hamas.

Not saying that doing so is okay, just pointing out an interesting set of priorities.

I'm not Anti-semetic. that shit though is how you confirm it to those types of people who already think that way.

As bad as this is for my people right now...this is most likely in the long run a good thing for us.

Because these people just don't have a future not an enduring one, and its safer to be their enemy then their friend.
