United States Trump v Biden 2, electric boogaloo

nope...we are not in any sort of shape to let us absorb Mexico right now.
Not right now, but once we unfuck ourselves...

Maybe it's time for the American Experiment to End, and the American Empire to Rise.

Maybe it's time for the world to find out what happens when America stops playing at being a 'distant hegemon' and is more...direct about integrating the people who keep begging for our protection into our systems, while breaking our enemies permanently.

Maybe it's time for the world to get what it's kept asking for, good and hard.

Apparently sending special ops into Mexico to assassinate and sabotage cartels is supposed to make us dislike Trump?
Given how all our other recent wars have gone? Yep, having another failed state whose inhabitants have been radicalized against us by our attacking them and want to escape the resulting anarchic hellhole their country became, but this one within walking distance of our country seems like a terrible idea to me.

Fair. But I'm not talking about a full invasion with soldiers in the streets, but special ops doing small missions to cripple individual cartels by taking out leadership.

Different than a full scale war.

Also, they're already flowing in by the millions.

It is worse than that, Cherico. Much, much worse. They destroyed evidence for this case. This has been admitted to on the stand. How many cases has this DA tried and how many will be examined to see if the same stuff happened in them?
As with a few other highly-publicized trials...
If they're* willing to screw it up on stuff where everyone is watching, where they KNOW their actions will be gone over with a fine-tooth comb to produce real or even rhetorical examples of bias and malfeasance...If they STILL do this kind of stuff in THESE cases, then every case they prosecute against Joe Randomguy where they won't face such scrutiny comes into question.

If you aren't following the process for the ultra-rich, ultra-connected, ultra-lawyered guy...

*They in this particular instance being prosecution, but extending out to investigating personnel and the FBI and the like as appropriate.

The more I think about this coming election, the happier I am that I bought partial ownership in a distillery back when Covid hit. At the time, I thought of it as a good deed, putting my money where my mouth was to support a local business and keep the karens from ruining yet another source of relaxation.

Now, it seems like a damn fine investment.

If only I had picked up Diageo stock as well.

Better late than never, I guess.

Nearly 350 million Americans, and the major parties give us these two geriatric creeps to pick between?

Guess I'm voting libertarian again. If my vote isn't going to matter anyway, may as well make it one that won't offend my conscience.
