They cant change the Electoral college vote to a Popular vote without Congressional approval, which neither the House or Senate has done. At best all it does is invalidates votes from that state or the Electors ignore it as the law has not been ratified. Of course even if by some miracle it did pass, wouldn't it be awesome of Trump won the vote and still got it anyway? That's liable to happen if he keeps going the way he has.

I hope to see that happen it would be so funny.
But I stand by what I see. Lots of ridiculous bills thrown in that anyone can miss as they're less eye catching like a ban on shooting ranges not owned by the government or the hate speech bill because government officials have thin skin getting mean words or images on the internet.

Possibly. But I'm of the theory they might be pushing these ridiculous Bill's for the simple fact they can say they're doing something, even if it doesn't pass or gets held up in the senate or in rejected. They can go back and say they did something.
