Things will only get really so bad for those farmers, if the city folk start “advising” them on how to make food and be “environment friendly” get pissed at even their most merciful treatment of animals and maybe force them to give up land to some Mexicans or something

The last would be about them doing reparations to Native Americans, but they would be “paying it forward” to said Mexicans and the like

Also, for payback for all of said food to be REALLY fucking delayed

What you're describing is an active civil war. That is the only way that the rural areas stop feeding the urban ones. Will an active civil war start? Probably not, but it will likely involve a lot of other violence first before food stops being bough or sold.

I think on average, they'd be smart enough NOT to go immediately through to violence or threats of violence

Implying the use of "force" though and plans on taking their kids to be raised "outside of hate" sure, but no threats of death

At worst, they may try, I mean "try" to live with the many small towns they're taking over.....but be really fucking socially awkward about it all and even downright creepy at times

Correct, but you know for a fact that a lot of the people involved would rather "settle things" once and for all, because many on both sides think they'll quickly overwhelm the other. One of them is probably right, but that doesn't change the pre-game mindset so much.

I mean this is all extremely hypothetical at the moment but I dunno if arming a bunch of urban citizens with guns and sending them into the hinterlands is the best idea for them. Especially if the National Guard is fractured on loyalty and Sheriffs Departments are willing to deputize gun owners in their districts. Plus the volunteer city slicker militia will be busy trying to capture Fairfax Virginia and the NRA headquarters there at the onset of the campaign.

I do like the irony of handing out guns like candy to civilians in order to form them into a militia to forcefully disarm other civilians of their guns because they are afraid they'll turn into a militia.

Well, they can say that they’re following the Constitution as weapons are supposed to be for a “militia” that is for the nation

And obviously its only the ones approved by them that count as proper “militias”

People will get very desperate very quickly when there are supply disruptions whether in food and medicine, or stuff like electricity and other utilities. The population density would be working against them in that regard far quicker then with rural areas.

that is true, I am merely pointing out this isn’t unheard of for marxists. The rule of thumb is while they are out of power they want gun rights, because they aim to take power (pun not intended), when they gain power they take them away, because it threatens their new dictatorship. Right now the marxists in America are not in control, so of course they would be opposed to anti gun measures, at least the consistent ones. However, the new marxists are even dumber than their predecessors so they tend to not remember that rule.

I think the question is now, how willing are they to go for the kill?

I mean with the current information age, even those “rednecks” probably have access to the internet and the ability to post pictures, voice recordings and videos and tell their side of the story

Gated communities are not well defended or "sealed", and the vast majority of people dont even have enough food or drinking water to last them three days, much less for any prolonged disaster scenario. Point of fact, those that do are not the "rich democrat dudes", they're the gun toters in the flyover.

And that is why the guys in flyover must both give up their guns and much of their food produce

While people in the city starved they “feasted” and continued to live their primitive barbaric ways

I don’t think they can learn from their mistakes even post-apocalypse there, they may always vote for more welfare and securities that accidentally mess things up
