Unless you want to go and violate our ToS, then you are free to stay around. For reference, publicly claiming that you are a Nazi, Maoist, or Tankie is probably the easiest means of doing so that doesn't bring with it potential legal trouble for you.
Otherwise post, or don't. Regardless, we only share personal information provided to the site when presented with a legally binding order, under US law, to provide said information. Unlike certain other sites, you don't have to fear doxxing here.

Also @Name Corrupted by Chaos if you want to know the real reason this site formed its because there was a clear niche in having a sci-fi board with tribble emojis for ratings.
To be honest, it sort of does. This is my opinion, mind.
Sufficient Velocity is just a soup of rules, regulations, and... well, shit: it's pretty much a court system LARP. That place also is a hugbox, and IIRC antisemitism runs rampant there.
I'm unsure of the other splinter sites, but I know they were founded by people who disagree with how SB is being handled and what direction it's going in, regardless of their spectrum leanings/beliefs. And I can respect that.
As for SB itself? sigh Honestly, if you're a Conservative there, or even Centre-Right, you're pretty much demonized by most of the Left-leaning user-base, despite their cries of the staff being controlled, influenced, or biased towards Right-leaning users.
You have people screaming 'Nazi! Nazi!' constantly, outright hysteria towards anyone not of the Left, and people openly stating they support Antifa, believing them they need to fight the (non-existent) fascists infesting America and its government... when Antifa itself acts exactly, or tries to aspire to be, like the goddamn Brownshirts of Pre-Nazi Germany!

I still post there regularly, and I still interact with the community, but after a lot of them showed how ugly things are underneath, I'll never feel as... close, I guess, or comfortable with it as I did before.
Which is a shame, since SB used to be pretty awesome back when I first joined in 2012 or so.

Leaving aside you main point, it also seems like these little splinter sites could serve as useful testbeds or the like, ways that staff can see what policies are useful and which ones are not. Laboratories of shitposting, you might say.
Speaking of which:
When someone does the "and now you'll ban me for daring to speak truth to power" noble martyrdom thing and then the admins go "lol, say what you want", I think it's hard to top that kind of self-own, but if you must, I think calling him trailer trash is pretty weak, I know you can do better than that.
