The Silver Mont is a Youtuber whose probably most famous for his Dark Souls (and related games like Bloodborne) Lets Plays, Game Guides and most deliciously of all.... LORE VIDEOS. His most popular guides and videos have earned him over a half million views and he currently has just over a hundred thousand subscribers.

Currently he makes long form (20-30 minute) media reviews on video games, television shows and media. For example a lot of his views on Star Wars are rather sympathetic and in line with many views here on the state of the franchise.

But he's covered his opinions on everything from Resident Evil to Sekiro to the Final Fantasy series and in fact soon will be covering Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

This particular video, his wrap up video, is well worth a watch (or a listen). He shouts out our forum in the beginning and then goes into his review of the media of the year, television, movies and of course video games and while a lot of it is his opinion (as expected) he does explain why he feels the way he does and a lot of his observations, while I personally don't agree with all of them... I can still understand the underlying rationale behind them.

Please check out the Silver Mont's video and engage with the content. Leave a like, and please share the video and subscribe to his channel if you like his content. He was a great partner to work with in this sponsorship and the first Youtuber to properly check us out and give us a chance!

Gonna check him out later, I mostly get lore from FudgeMuppet & VaatiVidya these days for fiction, would like to see his

Also, I’m guessing a portion of the comments are now kinda angry at him for mentioning TheSietch

No negative comments to The Sietch. Everything seems positive which is nice. Our YouTube account even made a comment on the video!

He's a good Youtuber. Everyones seen VaatiVidya lore videos. These ones are pretty good as well though, plus when he offers his opinions, it seems more skeptical of the social justice nonsense corrupting everything.

Plus he adds weebiness to his videos. I'm sure some are appreciative of that at least.

It's a bit risky for him to associate with us, whether we like it or not our forum was forged in the fires of online political strife, and when it comes to the internet scifi community we may not be on the majority, politically speaking. I really hope he is aware of the forum's past, it seems unfair to entangle him in a political squabble he doesn't care about and probably wants nothing to do with.

I'm surprised no one was bitching about this.

Yeah, I honestly think the Internet Scifi Community or the Scifi Community on the Internet is mostly Left Leaning

Guys Right of em are only relatively now making efforts

You can thank the trolls of 4chan who for one aren’t too obsessed with appearing grownup, being polite or simply latching onto idealised figures and futures

What kind of content would a forum like ours post? David Attenborough-esque crap going on about that time Tippy annoyed H.S- H.B.M.C?

Some sort of Planet Earth style commentary on forum flame wars is actually an excellent idea. I'll send it up the pipeline and take credit for it thank you.

If a Youtuber is going to be at risk for associating with us then this forum shouldn't of been made public in the first place since random people on the internet will be more "at risk". And considering his content and commentary I don't think he cares too much about having "unpopular" opinions when it comes to the internet scifi community. People need to stop living in fear of wrongthink or associating with wrongthink.

Political squabbles on the internet is literally the most basic setting of the internet.

I mean Jesus... we're not one of those awful godless sponsors like NordVPN or Raid: Shadow Legends. Now that's controversy.

I've also got an official YouTube channel myself (sboudreaux27). Check out & subscribe.
