They can also earn thier spurs, which is something that is a lot harder then the Stetson. Technically anyone can get a stetson if they are in a Cav unit

I'm curious - in the photos the Officers have different shoes - shouldn't they be wearing the same, regulation shoewear? And socks ...

So I'm guessing it's because she's a new 2nd LT in the Cav that she gets to wear the cool hat then? I'm no expert on Army particulars.

Female officers get a choice. I think Enlisted do get the choice as well. They can wear the normal shoes like two of them have, or the heels.
Socks are the same on the two wearing shoes instead of heels

Most likely a Cav Scout officer @FriedCFour officers is your specialty.

M551 Sheridan

A troop laden M551 Sheridan driving past a wrecked T-59 Tank during the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Leave it to the Chinese to make a crappy Chinese knockoff of the T-54/55.

And the M551 Sheridan in its air deployable mode.

Ain't nothing can survive the M551 Sheridans most deadly configuration, that of an air dropped munition.

Tanker had arrived with beautiful powerful and heavily armed *coughs* PT-76 Amphibious Tank, just in time to make Summer Beach Calendar shoot!

It goes 10km an hour in water.
It is a sitting target

Using it in the English Channel would be a terrible idea, it was built for rivers an lakes. Sure, with naval infantry (like in the picture) it means it could leave the landing ships several kilometres off the coast, but it was never intended to get into sea in France and come ashore in UK.
