So, doing what the US and friends do for several decades already?
Funny how the double standard works.
There is no double standard, you just claim one as you have no standards of your own. And really it isn't what the USA and its allies have been doing, anyone with half a brain or honest would know that.
When has the USA invaded a nation to take its land and subjugate its people in the last century? We all know Russia has done it plenty of times. To start the invasion of the nations freed by the treat of Brest-Litvosk (and Germany failing to make them puppets), their invasion of Poland in WW2, their Invasion of Finland during the Winter and Continuation Wars, their occupation of the Baltic states then, their invasion of Europe during WW2 (if they were liberating the lands, they'd allow the people to set up their own states) their invasion of Afghanistan, the Russian crackdown on separatist states wanting to exercise their own right to self-determination (odd how it is okay when Russia does something), Russian invasion of Moldavian territory, Russian invasion of Georgian territory, Russian invasion of Crimea and then other Ukrainian lands...and then invading Ukraine again.
Oh and wait, whenever supposedly free countries under Soviet influence wanted to even slightly control their own destiny? RUSSIAN INVASION! So don't give me that crap, under any reasonable standard I can condemn Russia and its actions. As much as I get upset at the USA's antics, at least they don't butcher civilians intentionally, they don't literally kidnap people*, they don't stage false referendums so they can pretend their unjustified actions are righteous.
And, as I was more or less saying. The USA and its allies haven't done this at all. As much as I oppose the interventionism of the USA, I can say that most of it is actually predicated on noble reasons. The Warmongers believe or pretend to believe that they are doing this to
FREE the people that they invade, to spread a system (Western Democracy) that they deem good, and to stop terrorists and madmen from oppressing and murdering their own people here. There is no double standard, because Russia is being held to the same standard. One part of that standard is that, "Killing is badong". Another part is that countries should respect each other sovereignty and work together for mutual benefit. Also, I follow the Just War theory, so I can 100% condemn Russia, and I also condemn the USA's actions when they are not praiseworthy...but rather blameworthy.
Want me to say it, the USA was wrong for invading Iraq. It was wrong for interfering in Syria, and in Libya and that their fuckery in Iran is partially to blame for what happened to it. And the war in Afghanistan should have been a much more restrained operation, to go in, shoot up Al Qaeda and then leave. And we shouldn't have got involved in Kosovo. Happy?
*To resettle in their own country. The USA does literally kidnap people in other ways, which is also Badong.
