I take that I might have sounded differently that what I tried to convey. It may be true that Zeihan is a China doomer but there's a difference between being wrong about the future and wrong about the present. He admits the deal may fall through but do you disagree that it would be a good deal if it didn't?
Also, it doesn't have to "satisfy" Israel, it's a success if the inspectors get to do their thing unmolested for the world to see.
In any case, I just posted it because I had missed the entire story in the first place. Arguably if the deal falls through then it doesn't matter anyway, but I thought people would like to know.
He is a China doomer but also very "rosy" when it comes to him talking about the present, he is very much like the "Vaush" of neocons to me, in the sense that all of his argumentations seems excessively and weirdly favorable to his side of a subject or argument and also like Vaush, he never seems to flinch or be able to put his ideas up to discussions...and if you the panels and discussions he did partecipate there is basically no one challenging him or going hard on him.
NOTE : I wouldn't be surprised if he is also an "astrosurfed" Youtuber like Vaush.
I will give you an example out of many but this is like very short and the easiest to find on a smartphone :
Notice how speaks about the Biden administration. He manages to twist even the negatives he can find into something positive.
