Good to know that not only did we waste millions of dollars on a pier that got destroyed by the Mediterranean as joe-blows on the internet predicted, but also expended US lives doing so.

And? So what? Israel didn't sign the convention banning them, and neither did many world powers including USA, Russia and China, while considering the experience of their usefulness in Ukraine, anyone who still supports it should be publicly shamed as a moron, a traitor or both.

We should be making up excuses for enemies to be shamed into not using effective weapons, instead of doing it to ourselves in a process resembling psyop friendly fire.

I feel like this is a separate debate, as to whether or not cluster munitions are a net positive or net negative. I'm probably in the middle/centre on that. However, my original point was that using cluster munitions on densely populated areas generally results in more civilian casualties than you need.
A certain KGB colonel promoted up a few levels is now waging a war in Europe. He's friends with Hamas and Fatah too.
Their war, their choice of munitions. We can have plenty of opinions on what weapons and tactics are allowable about the other side's too, about some those opinions are backed by international law far clearer than this, but i think we can agree the guys on the other side couldn't care less about what we or laws say about this matter, so why impose such restrictions just on allies, while enemies just laugh.
We have nothing to gain in obsessing about such minutia.
What densely populated area, how many civilian casualties are there, and how is Hezbollah going to be punished (by anyone other than IDF with its cluster bombs that is) for committing the actual war crime in this story, in form of hiding their military assets in supposedly such a densely populated area?

It's a step in the right direction imo, what I want to know is why Biden and Harris are not being investigated for their involvement in this. If anything they are the orchestrators and puppetmasters in this, not Netanyahu. Netanyahu is just a good little soldier for American imperialism, they tell him to jump and he says 'how high'? They're involvement in this cannot be understated.
That's the joke. Deif is also dead, didn't stop the ICC from issuing a warrant for him just to seem even handed while not even inconveniencing Hamas.
