A History Of The Sietch/SB PM Ban Compilation and Discussion thread.

That's really not something people admit in polite company.
I mean a lot of Kiwifarms could be viewed as bad, but honestly I visit the site at times just to look at the various news threads.
I'd rather read people discuss something organically, even at the risk of seeing things I don't like. Than look at reddit and see nothing but censored, filtered, distilled, inorganic discussion.

I visit the unholy place as well, but mentioning it on SB is like mentioning you go to whorehouse at the gathering of temperance society.

Hey, first post outside my own quest thread.

I'd been reading quests since before they clogged up the catalog and killed /tg/ and SB was one of the more active places where quests was ran.

So when I wanted to run my own quest I obviously looked there first, and read through the site rules, quickly realized the intersectional commie plague infesting it was deeper than a bunch of shitters screeching occasionally in threads. So I looked around for alternatives.

That's how I ended up here, because by just reading the rules it was clear that unlike SB this place understands that depiction is not endorsement. Sort of important when I wanted to run a Star Wars quest where the player faction is Imperials and are actually you know, not great people.

I do think its beyond ironic when they make such a big deal about "affairs of other boards" when I was first introduced to Spacebattles because a bunch of Halo nerds (I'm a Halo nerd myself ironically) were butthurt that I didn't agree with them that Mass Effect couldn't beat Halo on a Halo board (Halo Waypoints iirc), and they decided my "slight" against the Halo community needed to be punished so they introduced me to Spacebattles and, naturally, being a forum nerd as well, I was compelled to join because I thought I'd get an engaging debate and... boy... was I wrong.

By all means, spread the word to questers that the Sietch is the place to do Quests.
