I was talking about the Great Replacement in regards to race and ethnicity; less so in regards to religion. I mean, we do have some Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, et cetera coming here, but they're largely elites anyway and don't significantly alter the religious demographics of our country.

Given the heritability of fertility, even looking at it from a racialism angle, it's a questionable assumption; White Americans underwent the demographic transition sooner than others did and thus their fertility rates should recover sooner. Specifically, however, I was looking at it as a means of religion, given the moral question(s) in this thread.

Which ignores that Latin America and India are hitting the demographic transition now, Asia has already been slammed by it and it seems Africa is about to enter it. There is no one to draw upon; Third World fertility is cratering just as North American and European fertility is starting to show signs of going back up.

Base populations are also important. Even a country with a declining population can still send a lot of immigrants to other countries if it has a huge base population. Ex: China. Or Ukraine.

Again, I don't see this as a matter of racialism; African Christians tend to be among the most hardcore on issues like this and Latin American immigrants and their home countries are seeing massive conversions to Evangelical Christianity. Specifically even looking at it from that prospective, for the sake of the argument, I don't see it as viable. Ukraine only saw mass emigration because of the largest conventional conflict in decades, China is forecasted to drop down into the 700 million range at best.

Yet another good thing about the Russian invasion is that the West is going to get a good amount of Ukraine's human capital for itself.
