Oh boy, another opportunity for Tim Pool to play-act as the cool edgelord who was totally following the REAL news, bro. Wait until he dramatically proclaims “it’s called the GREAT RESET”. Be amazed at how he repeats “You will own nothing.” He might even say that c19 vaccines aren’t quite as effective as we were promised. But don’t ever ask him about voter fraud, no that’s too far.

Considering you're arguing that Germany won the Battle of Britain, I don't think you're in any place to posit that you understand how much of anything worked in WW2.
Where did I say those words? You're straight up lying.
I said that calling it a disaster is incorrect and was at worst a stalemate that slightly favored Germany due to how much damage was inflicted on Britain and the disruption that caused.

Nazi Germany had several fuckups in a row (Battle of Britain, OP Barbarossa, North African campaign, Stalingrad), but it didn't collapse until the Allies literally battled their way to Berlin.

I think you underestimate the survivability of evil.
Most of those 'fuck ups' were still mostly victories. Other than Stalingrad, which still ended up with a successful counterattack victory.

I'd like an apology for calling me a liar here.

Did I say the BoB was a victory specifically? I said most of those were victories, specifically Barbarossa and North Africa until 1943.

You called me a liar for putting words in your mouth. You also posted this:

"It failed to knock Britain out of the war, but put them on the back foot. Hard to call that a fuck up given the damage inflicted."

There's a clear implication that you think this was a win for the Germans. If that's not the case, then you need to work on your communication, not call others liars.

Seems to lead to world wars
"US Isolationism" also did not cause the 1st World War. That had no US role in how it started; before that the US mostly focused on the America's and Asia, to a limited extent, as a young country at the time.

We only got involved because Germany got reckless with their U-boats, we wanted to play dumb about the munitions on the Lusitania, and also Mexico started being stupid because of another revolution/Pancha Villa but was not stupid enough to actually take Germany's offer.

WW2 was caused by Woodrow Wilson being a racist asshole and overall scumbag, Hitler being plain evil and riddled with syphalus, Mussolini being a general fucktard, and Japan letting their imperial aspirations turn their spirit toxic, till we cleansed it with atomic fire.

US 'isolationism' in the interwar years was a return to normal, not a deviation from the status quo.

Only after WW2 did the US military attempt to rewrite human history and historical events to pretend it's absence from the scene caused those wars, in order to help justify things done in the post war years and drive up recruitment numbers by pretending to be more in control of the world and history than they actually are.

Isolationist policies is damn near if not fully impossible this day and age.

We will be reliant on others even if just tir a short time.
Which would basically lead to us getting dragged into a war....

Isolationism does not mean cutting ourselves of from the world; it means no longer feeling we have to take an active part in every conflict or international political issue and focus on making our allies stronger with our help/production lines.

It means making our allies beef themselves up so they do not have to rely on us militarily, while still maintaining trade; nuclear Poland or nuclear Japan, for example. Let NATO become it's own thing for European's to handle, instead of having the US lead it; France is more than strong and familiar enough with shit to let them take over for us, particularly with the Brits providing the sea power again.

Stronger allies let us focus more energies on unfucking our own shit.

Also the internet and space domains mean that 'isolationism' will coexist with news of the outside world, but not ask the US to fix or take the lead on every issue. We need to focus our energies as a nation into space, to the stars and the far future of a species, not trying to police this single ball of rock forever more.

So basically rely on all imports to be from China.
Got it.

And no that isn't a strawman.
Our Navy is what keeps piracy at bay.

If pirates destroy global trade manufacturing has to go were it is safe instead of were it's cheapest and that means the rust belt roars back to life
You know what Letter's of Marque are?

There is already one Congresscritter calling for their use.

Shift the US Navy over to protecting CONUS, not policing every maritime choke point. Let...entrepreneurial folks of nautical and martial inclinations do their thing to make sure people like China do not have an easy enough time to make anyone dependent on them.

Russia and China are already practicing a lot of grey zone warfare, so go for an old but good method; hire the pirates, instead of fighting them.

We don't even need to have them fall back to CONUS. Just have them fall back from patrolling every part of the world, instead have them protect allies, nations that will pay the US to have our Navy protect their shipping, and every part of the Pacific East of the Philipines, since it's basically our private pool for all military intents and purposes.
