I have a horrible suspicion that 2024 or thereabouts will be the breaking point. Or at least the start of it.
If Trump gets elected, the Left will wig out and, given the hysteria they’ve been fed the past few years, start ‘peacefully protesting’. Probably with the help of the Feds and some mysterious pallets of bricks.
If Biden (or someone else Uniparty) gets elected, they’re likely to crack down further. Or the Feds will set something up to give them an excuse to and the whole thing will spiral from there.
And then there’s the possibility that Trump gets Kennedy’d…

Trump doesn't have the independent/centrist vote necessary to get elected at this point.
Biden might try to crack down, but more likely he will vanish into the woodwork and have Harris do everything. Which won't really ammount to much because she's just generally incompetent. And which will backfire in 2028 because she was a diversity hire with absolutely zero charisma.
