United States Biden administration policies and actions - megathread

Carrot of Truth

War is Peace
The remaining Biden voters are hardcore delusionists on par with Acid-takers or rabbid "OrAnGe MaN bAd!' people who just can't be helped in any way. These news pieces basically pander to these people, as well as trying to lure back people who once believed in this bullshit but are now "yeah, no; Biden and the Democrats are one step short of being Communists or Nazis."

I see a lot of them on Reddit but at the same time I strongly suspect most of those supporters aren't real people but bots.

Biden DOJ joins ACLU in suing Tennessee over law making it illegal to (this isn't satire) knowingly spread HIV
They claim it violates disability rights.

'The enforcement of state criminal laws that treat people differently based on HIV status alone and that are not based on actual risks of harm, discriminate against people living with HIV,' said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. 'People living with HIV should not be subjected to a different system of justice based on outdated science and misguided assumptions. This lawsuit reflects the Justice Department's commitment to ensuring that people living with HIV are not targeted because of their disability.'

The ADA is one of the worst laws ever written. It provides a moral shield for tons of Federal overreach. If there were ever a time to try and get it overturned, this is the opportunity. If the ADA goes, then so do all of the other protected class laws- many of which violate the Tittles and Nobility act in enforcement if not in the letter.

The ADA also makes it harder for people with disabilities to get jobs not easier.

Brandon Smith from Alt-Market claim, that main american mistake ,and reason why republican is loosig,is pretending that leftists are only american citizen with different opinions.
They are not, they are enemies who want american dead or enslaved, and use every tool to did so.
And for them american patriots are enemies, not citizens.

While this is true its worth remembering that there aren't all that many leftists in America. They just control the bureaucracy and media so they're able to

1) Make it so that the dominant party (DNC) implements their preferred policies and
2) Dominate the opposition party and now that its starting to actually oppose them paint them as comically evil due to controlling the narrative around basically everything

Most Americans don't hate the country, want closed borders and economic protections at the expense of globalist trade "deals." Republicans have been losing because they have been controlled opposition for the past century and thats only started changing in the last decade.

So he stated the obvious. Leftists are practically soviet people, the same as those who betrayed their countries for Soviets in the cold war. Citizenship is paper to them, they are loyal only to global proletariat or whatever their variation of leftism idolizes as most oppressed.
Same as jihadis, you can give them citizenship papers of any country, but they are only loyal to their cause anyway.

And many normal americans still fall for that trick. Not mention poles. It is even worst here.

Socialism is sold as a good thing…..even a great thing.

It is hard to convince people who already believe socialism is good.

After living in Europe for years, I concluded socialism is nothing but churched-up feudalism. Often same families have run parts of Europe for hundreds or thousands of years. The EU just upped the game of unelected Eurocrats run everything, while elected officials are a smoke screen.
An unelected upper class, who are above the law, the law only applies to peons, and the law is not equal to everyone.
The peons do not have a right to self-defense, The use of force is the power of the state.
The state tells you it controls your family, not the individual.

Wow starting to sound like the USA not just Europe.

Edit: to add clarity in sentence structure.

It is if you go back to its roots in the enlightenment era.

The Anglo-American branch of the enlightenment decided that the best way to iterate off of feudalism was to give everyone the same rights and protections as lords- extending the benefits of the Magna carta to everyone- thus equal rights or equality under the law. This workes well because you don't need a person to fulfil negative rights.

The French branch went in a completely different direction, they decided to take the nobility out of Nobelis Oblige- which is basis of theoretical socialism. The problem is that you can't have an institution with out people, so this just ends up giving buerocrats the positions nobles used to occupy, and this makes the philosophy great at enabling Eunuchs' rebellions.

One of the examples of feudal Europe still being a thing is a family member received a number of overlapping degrees from European universities. In a very specialized class was a person of noble origin, whose family has owned a major bank in Europe for close to a millennium. Noble turned Elite bureaucratic family of wealth and class.

She was “the “best” student in the program, a B+ student (due to lack of effort or ability), fortunately, all other people in the Master's degree program were “B” students. That was an “elite English university”.

I understand “Gentlemen D’s”, I even understand if your family donates enough money you will not be failed out. But to suppress the best in any field because of their last name, means you accept your society will peak and not allow itself to reach greater heights.

I'm still confused why this State of the Union was delayed so long. It feels incredibly late to me.

Just to make sure I wasn't just crazy...It is late. Though not the latest (Biden's 2021 speech was in late April and the 2022 March 1st) so that's kind of been the Biden trend, but prior to that the latest speech was the end of February by Trump. All previous ones were held January-February sometime. Just...odd timing?

I presume wanting to try and make progress on the Israel-Gaza and Houthi-ships fiascos internationally played-in to this year's delay. The Israel one doesn't look likely, even as much as Biden and the State Department very clearly want it to be, and I'd guess right now that the Houthis will go unmentioned (I may be wrong).

Hoping a Ukraine-aid breakthrough happened might have been part of it. And/or the border stuff that was connected to it before it wasn't. Dunnow what the speeches emphasis is going to be on either of those beyond 'Congress and Republicans need to address this instead of delaying'.

Probly another side-motivation was waiting to see if Trump verdicts or evidence came down in the various court cases--those would be solid PR things to be able to emphasize in the speech. But Georgia got sidetracked onto the prosecutor's sex shenanigans and another got held by SCOTUS pending them hearing it, and I don't know the staus of the other...two? three? But I don't think they're set to offer anything soon, so that's probably a hanging thread that won't/can't be pulled.

We shall see, I suppose.

Britt is one of the rising stars in the Republican Party going forward. Big question is whether she'll be VP in a future GOP administration someday ?
