Tim's peak was covering the riots over the summer while the majority of media was lying and calling them peaceful protests. Tim was one of the ones spreading the truth and was reaching a wide audience.

Without that, it's same old Tim, just reading news articles.
I don't have an issue with this actually. I see him as kinda of a news aggregator. He gets news article that I'm not aware of and then comments on it. But I don't treat him as more then he is.

I still don't get why some people rag on Tim so much. He's entirely upfront with who he is and what he does. He's incerdibly useful for reaching moderates and keeping stories from being buried.

Sure, he repeats himself a fair bit, but that's because he doesn't assume people have seen his other videos. I don't watch him all that much, but he's good at what he does.

Tim must repeat himself because the average young person today has the attention span of a Marmot on crack cocaine.

He's not perfect; some people chose to hold that against him.

I disagree. The average Gen Z and Gen Y appear to have a shorter attention span, but you need to keep in mind these generations have to sort through a shitload of data compared to older generations. And that means discarding what they deem as irrelevant (boring) data. Tim Pool repeating himself doesn't do him any good unless whoever is watching him is emotionally invested. He'd be better off with 1 minute videos that quickly and easily explain the situation. Because the younger generations can grasp fairly sophisticated (if elementary) information, but your window of opportunity is very low.
