Do you mean the things that have been going on for months with little actual progress? Or laws they will over-rule as they did back in 2020 election?
You mean how many states followed along, but won't now? Yeah.
Stop being such a downer

The government and the law move slowly, but when they start moving they take quite some time to stop.

I pray that you are right.

Because right now, its looking ever=more likely that midterms will be used to completely and totally oust any MAGA Republican from office. They will replace them with Democrats and RINOs.

The fraud of the century was perpetrated upon us, and literally, nothing was done about it.

All they had to do was lock us down, demand to use mail-in ballots, and then just print out literal printer paper ballots by the pallet full of filled-in bubbles for Joe Biden and literally no other candidates chosen.

The audits have proven it, but still, nothing is done to correct it. It's all a bunch of keeping people lead by the nose, hoping something will change.

When the reality is, they've just perfected their system, because now they know they can get away with it.

Every single election from this point forward will just have some disaster happen, and they'll demand to need mail-in votes. And just like that, FUCKING MYSTERIOUSLY every one of them will be for the democrats and RINOs.

It isn't a joke any longer. We have been completely and totally overrunning by third-world corruption.

The success or failure of attempts at election reform, and the results of the mid-term elections, will make or break this nation.
Agreed completely. Depending on the results of the midterm, how the Chinese Coof is handled further and if anything of real substance comes from the election audits....well.

Its terrifyingly possible that two quotes will be very apt, if not in exact words then in spirit:

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
- Thomas Jefferson

“I only regret that I have one life left to give for my country.”
-Nathan Hale

OK folks, let's set some understandable goals for the midterms before we say that anything short of a landslide is the end of days.

Based on all prior midterms, plus redistricting, control of the House should swap. By how much is an open question, but unless something seriously goes wonky, there's little chance of the Dems holding the house, and, frankly, I think if the Dems were so desperate and/or stupid to rig themselves winning the House it might well be the last election held as that would be so blatantly against historical norms that a lot of center left people would start asking way to hard questions.

That said, the Senate is a much tighter game. The Dems are defending 14 seats, of which historical voting patterns indicate 10 are in Democratic stronghold states. Meanwhile Republicans are defending 20, of which 15 seem to be safe seats. This means there's about 9 seats that are competitive, potentially more. This is not grounds for a landslide Republican takeover of the Senate. Probably Best Case they keep all the seats they presently have, and flip those 4 non-stronghold seats, giving them the Senate with a 54-46 majority, and that would take the Rs running the board in all the states they have to defend and picking up the 4 swing states. Not impossible, but also not the most probably. The more likely scenario I think is some seats trading hands, but it is quite feasible that the Dems retain control of the Senate even without them cheating, since Senate races often turn on state level interests and issues and the individual candidates matter a LOT, choosing the wrong candidate for a seat can completely fuck up an otherwise safe election, and the Rs have done that multiple times over the years.

If I was in control of the Dem's vote manufacturing, I'd write off the House and let the Rs take it. Keeping control with the margins they have right now would be to incredulous and raise way to many questions in way to many races. Plus ballot stuffing for House races is a lot more risky on a large scale than ballot stuffing for statewide races. They just need to retain the Senate to prevent a full split between the Legislative branches, plus full control of the Senate would allow them to fill the courts and bureaucracy with minions in a way they can't quite right now.

Take into effect gubernatorial elections.
GA, for instance, if it turns blue during that (fraud would be the cause) then count no more Republicans presidents getting the GA vote.

Our last and final short term hope is that 2022 mid terms produce an overwhelming red wave. I'm not completely demoralized. I actually still have some hope for this.
I feel like S'task preempted me somewhat, but what would be sufficiently overwhelming to you, such that you'd say that that hope was not unfulfilled?

I think signs so far point to more MAGAs replacing RINOs than the other way around, although there's always a lot of churn. No comment on Democrats vs. both considering how far away from Election Day we are.
