Fallout Fallout General Thread - War, War Never Changes. Nor do game engines.

Anyone here play New California?
I really enjoyed my Enclave playthough of it.
Might do a NCR one to tie into New Vegas

Colonel Bragg is pretty cool and also if you max out your strength so you can open the door he will call you the second coming of Frank Horrigan. With the new ai voice stuff I'm hoping someone adds some new lines to the remnants and Arcade Gannon if you were to do the New California Enclave playthrough.

Oh I hope so too.
New California is what Frontier tried to be.

They were early on you had to raid an outpost of thiers thay had a shield

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Well aside from the weird sexual fetishes and lack of direction the Frontier did a lot of super impressive shit with an ancient engine like all the drivable cars, tanks ect.

Oh for sure.
I jist hated how for a mod that had the whole join who ever you want, you can't join the Enclave.

To be fair 'joining' the Enclave isn't really possible, they're 100% against anyone but pureblooded humans. And the only purebloods are the Enclave themselves and vault dwellers.

I mean, they could still make it an option, especially if it takes place AFTER NV, due to Arcade and if they work with NC you could even have Bragg be a reason as well.

I suppose given they use Frank Horrigan, they'd accept a protagonist due to their skills.

Similar to how Caesar accepts a female Courier.

The Frontier was originally suppose to be a sister project of New California so you could already have joined the Enclave went to DC and ended up as a surviving remnant that came back west. It wouldn't be joining so much as just returning after being missing in action.

So is it part of the same old team that is continuing work on Frontier or just some new people (and maybe holdovers) after the old team abandoned it in shame?

Speaking of Fallout, the "Grounded Commonwealth Mod" was banned from both Nexus and ModDB due to external factors (AKA, insane leftists).
Even if you don't like what the mod contains, none of it is offensive in any way, so it should've have been banned.

In this case, the mod did most likely break the rules. The rules are fucking stupid, but it did break them.

What rules? The mod it self just replaces characters and their voicelines. It's no different than the endless retextures, remodels and quest replacers.
The only rule it broke is "The mod should not upset anyone" which is nonsensical as that would be EVERY mod, provided even a single person becomes upset from it.
Lets be real here, ANY mod can break ANY rule according to the owners of those mod sites, and this is very much intentional because they are political extremists.

"liable to incite racial hatred" would be the part it breaks.
